Southern adds linebacker coach to staff

Nothing about hate, but it is off-season. It's just the first time I've seen an entire thread started about some obscure high school linebackers coach since I've been here.
Didn't mean to leave PB out of the equation though. What's your take on PB giving your coach a two year reward of an extension for losing three straight years and for putting the team on academic probation?

Not EVERY time. It's just when folks disagree with su folks that some of you guys come in with negative comments just because we disagreed.
Newsflash, not everyone's going to agree, especially JSU and su folks.

Now look at this shat...What else needs to be said? Some posters on here are some real haters that will just pull anything out their azz.

I don't think I address you my comment was in general but, you know they say a hit dog will holla.

Now, I have a question for you? How is that men's bball home court winning streak working out? lol

It is a ton of your alums that wish yall had an on campus BRAND NEW stadium. You talk about atmosphere. We may come there and talk ish because we are playing JSU. It has nothing to do with the stadium. It's the opponent. SU fans would still come if you played on your campus. Actually that would be MORE OFF THE CHAIN than Memorial. Campus stadiums are always a better atmosphere if your fans show up.

Some of these quotes are way off base. Fact of the matter is that behind the scenes, JSU could've had funds for a stadium, YOUR size years ago, but we didn't want that. I'd say that makes us progressive because we wanted something much better.
We don't want to settle for any ole stadium like some other schools have done. That sounds more progressive.

Now JSU has been at Memorial for almost 60 years. If a governor hasn't had the balls to boot us out, especially during the most racist years in Mississippi history, what makes you think they'd even dare do it now? That won't happen and you know it. Don't even know why you even said it like that to begin with.

You know that JSU's location has a lot to do with getting the needed land over the last 20 years to even build a stadium. JSU's not located in a mostly rural area. We're basically land-locked. It's one of only about two SWAC schools located in the heart of neighborhoods where land is hard to come by.
Just ask Texas Southern folks how difficult it is for them to get land for a stadium being that they're right in the heart of Houston.

JR, you know we're working on that and have been for some time. Why you acting all brand new when you've known this all along? It's only a matter of time before that corridor to downtown is completed. In the meantime, things are going on behind the scenes I'm almost sure you're aware of.

Metrocenter is not on campus, so that would be defeating the whole purpose for an "on-campus" stadium.

It's not free per se' and there's something about the land that your "free" stadium sits on. Might wanna check into that and see just how "free" it is.

Dude, everyone pays taxes, but it's practically free upkeep from the state of Mississippi. The field is always in excellent condition and the grass is always green, not brown or yellow with potholes.

He might have the best resume. I hope its worth something in the end. Hopefully he can win and get some people to come to Home Depot on Saturdays.
