Oprah admitted she should have worded it differently. By saying that even Oprah realizes that her statement was wrong. It's not what you say, but how you say it.

She said that to satisify ya'll negroes who took her statement and ran with it!

Once again, people will complain or find fault no matter what good you do.

Say what you want, but there is some truth to her statement! Ya'll might not want to face the reality, because it probably speaks to YOUR home!

You are right. I was born and raised in the inner city and I am a product from a so-called failed environment. I am proud of it because I am willing to bet you that half of you mofo's could have not survived where I came from and made it out. It's easy to say how and what you would do if you have never been there. When the odds are against you in life from the time you are born and you achieve some positive things in life you are proud of it. Don?t knock something that you will never understand. To everyone who has a problem with people from inner city schools and the products they produce I am proud to be the person on behalf of the other inner city products to tell you to kiss our azz and that includes Oprah!!!!!

Good for you! What you want? A pat on the back? Nobody on here knocked people from inner cities! The point was: Don't act like what she said doesn't have some truth to it!

I don't think you need to call anyone a MOFO Cee. At the same time, she did not say ALL inner city schools. She is speaking to the ones that SHE visited. She can't speak to the ones she does not know. And if it makes you feel anybetter, she did say that sometimes the US systems work and sometimes they don't. You don't know everyone's walk in life just as everyone does not know yours, but calm down. BE the example. :)

Screw Oprah. Don't get mad because no one loves Oprah like you and I got your cookie. That headlock is coming. :slap: :smash:

6 pages of nothing.

You know you've read EVERY SINGLE post, too! :D

Nope....................I'm on the other threads.

Your the only one obsessed with anything OPRAH.
I scanned through and your on here defending every post like you on her payroll.

Other people doing things in Africa off the top of my head:

Bill Gates....................$1 billion education fund.
Jay Z .......................Building fresh water well's/pumps for individual homes and villages.
Luda...............Same as here..................College Schollies.

All just announced and did...................Not send out invitations like it's a New Years eve party.:goof:

But anywho...................Mo power to her.
Open another school as far as I'm concerned.
It's her money.

It sure speaks to my home, where my teenagers can't wear pants without their drawers showing, think that gangsters are cool, and take great offense when required to read a book. The overprivileged little darlings would rather get that ipod than an education.

I am not complaining about Oprah, but I am dayum sure complaining about popular cutlure! ...and about the whiners and excuse-makers, too!

Thank goodness for football! Kept their butts in class for high school and is still keeping one of them in class in college!

You're the only who is mad, dear.

Hate all you want!

See this is why I would never support a woman as a leader. You pick and choose what you want to hear. Oprah did the correct thing in helping those kids, but she also was wrong for what she said. She admitted it. Whether it was for PR or not she admitted it. Never admit to something that you know you aren't in the wrong for. If she folded to pressure like that it shows her weakness.

Its just useless. Cee and Stagga only post in Oprah threads to "get the chickens riled up" as they say. He don't even care what Oprah does or does not do....

:lmao:

I like the conversation!!!!! But Cee is the one who seems mad for real and is the "riled up chicken" today. Po baby! :lmao:

Question: Aint African a "Black Community". Do it Big Oprah.

My point is, there is nothing wrong with admitting you are wrong, she did that, and I don't see the problem with it. She understands most folks took the comment the wrong way. But the bottom line is, she could not, would not, have ever pleased everyone with building that school. No one applauds all that she has done here in the States for black children, and this bullshat right here on this thread is why most black millionaires give anonymously.

Mad. Please woman. I enjoy seeing you get mad. I know any comment about Oprah takes you all through the roof.

Oprah, Oprah, Oprah.......I agree with her comments in general (and it is a huge generalization) but she could have put it a different way, and even she admits that. The differeance is that in South Africa education is usually not Free whereas her every school aged citizen (and non-citizen) that happens by is given a free education. FREE is the key to all of this. Spend that money any way you want sista.

I saw her on some talk show last night and she said "I just love that white folks are so upset about the way I spend my money"

You tell'em O....
