Some Question Funding for Grambling Band Appearance

It's very amussing to see the same redundant arse comments about the bass drum lol, but to each its own! Damn some of you people make the Rolling Concert Bass more popular than some of your own bands lol! The sad part about it, many of you all probably think Grambling is the only band to use it, learn some history peeps! Like i said in reference to someone in a post done some days ago, The Rolling Concert Bass was used before you were alive and it will be used after death so deal with it, it's tradition! Yall laugh and GSUs' band accounts increases, damn life is good on both sides!:pimp:

Bruh, why are you even entertaining these jokes? They are just messing with you and hating at the same time! I'm sure after the game some Mafia folx will say Grambling was Cooning for the whiteman. You know how they hate!
 
I really fail to see where the "hating" began. Yall should know that the bass drum jokes have been going on for years. This topic could have been a lot worse than it is.

The so called hating is actually in my eyes retaliation to the comments made by some of you that take the jokes way too seriously.

Peronsally, I think the rolling concert bass drum is a gimmick. Now, maybe in the beginning, it may have been the actual bass drum used for on-the-field performances... But I say it's a gimmick, simply because Grambling marches other bass drums as well. I doubt the concert bass drum adds any significant bass drum 'effect' than the standard '26 or '28 drums..... Gram's bass drum line doesn't dominate their show anymore than Alcorn's tuned bass drums dominate theirs..

I say it's a gimmick. But other bands use gimicks as well, like having fat guys/girls dancing out front. Or the 'white guy' gimmick. So the fact that it's a gimmick shouldn't ruffle any feathers. But the fact that it's such a large, eye-catching, you-can't-help-but-see-it gimmick, is why Grambling gets teased about it so much.....

So, learn to laugh with us, I say....

My job at Delta has been busy as hell and I was just recently promoted. I'm back to working 5 days a week now with my hours sometimes extending from 8 to 13 depending on the day.

By the time I get home sometimes, the last thing I wanna do is see a dayum computer screen.
