HBCUs are an after-thought. So, what do you have to lose?

I've been in favor of HBCU conferences merging either into one big conference or have the FCS HBCU conferences merge and the Division II HBCU conferences merge. I hope this is gaining traction because I think it would be financially beneficial for HBCUs.

I'm worried about Deion Sanders. Deion is talking about things that will upset the HBCU ole' black boy leadership group. This group has it good and what Deion is talking about will cause them to lose power. They will lose power if merged HBCU conferences become a reality because there will be increased involvement from white corporations that will monitor the dollars they've invested and expect a return on their investment.
