SHOULD BIDEN REMOVE HIMSELF AS THE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE?


Here is the issue outside of RICH WHITE Democrats-nobody else is saying Biden needs to leave. Folks who interact with voters are getting a different reply and want Biden to stay.

So who is REALLY hollering? RICH folks that Trump's antics won't hurt them.

And There are Republicans in certain states who will make sure that Biden will NOT be removed from the ballot even if he steps down.

On a sidenote TRUMP will be acting the same way soon and racist white MAGA people will be at the wheel if he gets elected..I think people with common sense realize that...that's one of the reasons why the PANIC has begun in this country over Project 2025!
 
So the man with 91% of the support drops out? The money Democrats do NOT want Harris. Nobody wants Harris. So they want to risk really losing?
 
Harris is the only alternative if they want that money raised to date. She's already on the ticket so this is unnecessary. She better announce the PA governor or some other white man as her VP just to avoid a blood bath. White women didn't even vote for one of their own so I'm sure Trump will win white women and men by bigger margins
 
To me, the puzzling part of this whole notion is this - even if they convinced Biden to step aside, the qualifying date (to be on the November ballot) for several states has already passed...... That means, even if he withdraws or if the Dems advance a new nominee at the convention, Biden's name would still be on the ballot.

At this stage of the game it's pointless to continue pushing the narrative that he can easily be replaced. He can't. Unless something happens to him, he's the presumptive nominee. And we all know Harris can't come in (at the last minute) and mount a campaign that's going to beat the other side.

And let's not forget, he's still The President of The United States. If he drops out of the election, then he's a lame duck for over 6 months (before the 2025 inauguration). And what do you think THAT would look like?? We'd have gridlock because the Republicans wouldn't do anything, knowing they're going to take control in January.


I think this is yet another narrative that's being pushed (to get him to step down) that's only going to hand the election to the Republicans.

I don't like it, but all I can do is vote.....

What's wrong with us as a country? How can we elect a 34-count felon, with more cases pending, a convicted rapist, convicted of fraud, cheated on his wife with a porn star and paid hush money help steal and election, stole our country top secret documents, and tried to commit a coup against our country. Why would any country elect a person like this to be their leader?

I hate to say it but all of this is a hot mess at the wrong time. I am unsure of actual numbers or trust the samples used in polling. However, I’m riding with Joe and Kamala until the wheels fall off. One thing that disturbs me is conventional wisdom says a house divided never stands. It’s just difficult to really know how large the divide is. I’m not sure how the majority of white women can vote for a party that don’t defend their rights. But, we do know who birthed those right wingers…..so we’ll just have to see how that works out. SMDH in thorough disgust.

You're going to have to explain your logic? Are you saying the DNA of people 250 years ago is embedded in the current generations, it's the cause of some of them to be illogical, uninformed, and care about our future?

Here is the thing Biden has the votes of old white folks, white woman and suburbs who know better, It's Black, Latino and young voters that seem to be the issue. Also when actually pollsters got out and talk to folks-many are voting not for Biden but to stop Trump and Project 2025.

And now you got folks DEFENDING the fact you got only WHITE Democrats wanting Biden AND Harris to be removed. Say it's not racist.

If they don't want Biden-you have no choice but Harris to keep everything. No new person has a thing to run on as terms in what they did for laws.
 
Blame should be placed on the Biden team for not being transparent about his declining cognitive ability a concern that has been widely reported for quite some time. Unfortunately the lack of transparency opened up Pandora's box.

Why? NOBODY and I mean NOBODY is saying that about Trump. He's 3 years younger.
Oh and here is the part of the polls they will NOT talk about. 57% want Trump to step down too.

We got 12 folks in Congress OLDER than Biden. Including one who will be 100 at the end of his term. Nobody is calling for them to leave.

Understand folks understand Biden is OLD. He was old in 2020 and yet he BEAT 14 YOUNGER folks.

He has gotten 99% of the delegates and 14 million voted in primaries.

This is about HARRIS. A lot of Democrats did not want her as VP including Nancy Pelosi.

This is what they fear-Biden wins and steps down-Harris takes over. She finishes his term, Guess what she can serve 3 terms. She could be in office until 2034. Because it's hard to take down an incumbent president.

Last time it was done-Republicans WON TWICE. Looking like its going to be a 3rd thanks to white rich folks.

No new person can win in 10 weeks of working from ground zero.
 
You know I'm not so sure that Biden didn't have COVID during that debate with that other guy! I mean he seemed to have many of the common symptoms except maybe fever. Now IF Biden should decide to step aside, which btw at this stage of the race would all but give the race to trump and effectively end the great experiment of The American Republic the the Framers created and put this Nation in a new and uncharted environment. A thought experiment wonders if Hilary could be convinced to pick up the torch and run for the Office should Joe decide to step aside.
