Richard Sherman speaks about Black Lives Matter

There is nothing wrong with Sherman having a different opinion. Honestly, different people have different perspectives based on your personal experiences.. I support BLM. Their fight is not my primary focus but I understand it.

Being honest for a second. I live in the city limits of D.C. I have a bigger fear of a young black dude breaking in my house or trying to rob my wife than I do being shot by the police. I have a bigger fear because that is a bigger threat for me as a person. 95% of my interactions with police at this point are positive or standard protocol.

However, if the police were harassing me as I was walking home everyday or pulling me over for no reason on a regular basis, I would probably have a different outlook on life and how I view cops.

Great post and great points!

Sherman is wrong on this one, but a "c**n" he is not. And to attempt to label him as such speaks to the ignorance, stupidity and flat-out shallow-mindednes of the accuser. For one of us to call him a "c**n" is no different than white-folks calling him a "thug".

I hear you but being a brother with dreads you know he gets profiled. Just keep following him and get back with me.
Every black person gets profiled. I have a bald head and and get profiled. I have actually been stomped out by the cops.

I am guilty of profiling people myself on a regular basis living in DC.

See, Malcolm X /Stokely CarMichael vs Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Is the Great Internal Conflict of African-Americans.

As time has gone on, it has been proven that Fear is needed. Dr. King wanted to fit in too much.

Malcolm X was the one we should have listened to.

Oh, your agreement isn't a prerequisite LOL
"They're doing it to get in good graces with white folks"

Richard Sherman personal experiences is the reason why he feels that way not because he trying to get in good graces with White people. Sherman is the same guy who stood up for DeSean Jackson when Chip Kelly threw him to the curb. *Shrugs*

Of course we are don't be silly. We are still extremely majority black. Furthermore, how can you no longer be a "Historically" Black College/University?

That video was made 3 years ago to use as a recruitment piece at non black high school we recruit from.

West Virginia State University. Still receives HBCU funding despite being 90% white

Folks y'all gotta be honest black people hated Dr. King for the Civil Rights movement. They said he was stirring up hate in their towns. Keep it real these same genes live on.

They say the same thing about BLM, Deray and Netta. Race baiters is their favorite term
