Not True. DC had 400 Murders in the late 80s/90s. To this day, many of those murders remain unsolved and will remain in the Cold Case Files for eternity.

...And the Police Departments of Miami and New Orleans were corrupt in the 80s/90s until things got so bad it the FBI had no choice but to intervene. Where was the outrage then?

See, #BlacksLiveMatter is quick to brush off crime against our own. Basically, #BlackLivesMatter is telling me as a Black Person it's ok for me to rob and kill my own. That is stupid.

Out of all of the dumb things you've said on this message board, this ranks up there at the top. I don't even like to come out and call people stupid, but that there is dangerously close.

BLM is not quick to brush off violence against our own (in fact, folks from other races kill and hurt each other at the same damned rate we do — so that argument is a non-starter). All BLM is saying is that black folk want EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER THE LAW like everyone else has, which a lot of black folk feel we still don't have. All BLM is is a renewed vigor of the Civil Rights Movement, which pretty much asked for EQUAL PROTECTION UNDER THE LAW along with equal access to opportunity and education.
 
i agree with what he's saying!

We need to be activist in our neighborhoods and communities as well! where's the outrage and marches when pookie shot ray ray over a dice game? (fictional but im just saying..)
what about when the 16 yr old killed a bunch of kids at High School birthday party in baker...

His point is that we should be fighting the fight on both fronts! Get our kids & adults to stop killing each other in addition to fighting these outside entities.

I think it should be a two-sided approach. These cops have been getting off because the DAs, Cops, and Judges are silent partners. DAs and Judges are elected so therefore they develop platforms to be hard on crime. Rarely do we have DAs like the ones in Baltimore willing to the push the buttons. Incidentally depending on where you live and your cognitive beliefs when growing up do we have people in our society willing to make the right decisions concerning someone in their "hood" who commits a crime.

Is it fair to say that the Miami and New Orleans Department of the late 80s/90s were most MINORITY DEPARTMENT? You do know Cops extorted Drug Dealers right? And the Drug a Dealers themselves obliged because the cops protected them.

Black Lives Matter actually support HIV initiatives as well.

I can't hold Black Lives Matter to the actions of black folks in the past. As a matter of fact I can't hold Black Lives Matter to the actions of black folks presently. It's a movement to change people's thinking. Some they will chance...some they will not. Just like I can't hold my God Brother (who is white) accountable to the actions of some racist white people. Hell, his dad and my dad were together in POW camp and our families are TIGHT. So just because there are white folks calling me a ni$$a should I place him in that boat. Hell to the naw!!! That's stupid.

This is the problem. Your understanding of the BLM movement is as shallow as them anchors on FOX. Even though these cops are all out murdering us in cold blood, the system is allowing them to do this without doing one day in jail. Keep in mind some of these instances have been ON CAMERA. Not only are innocent black ppl being murdered by cops, but the narrative during the investigation shifts from the cop to the dead victims. No regard or sympathy for black ppl by the police or the media. Out of these police shootings, I can literally count on my hand how many cops were put in prison smh. We watched a cop arrest a black woman for NOTHING and she end up dead in jail. FOH.

BLM is about JUSTICE for african americans who the system CLEARLY don't give a fuck about. Fck is you talking about here?

There are marches all over the country for this very same thing. On a WEEKLY basis.

That's the thing Richard Sherman and Stephen A Smith don't get. When you use your public platform and say we aren't doing anything about "black on black crime", it's a slap in the face of those people who are putting in work doing something about it i.e. in Chicago, etc.

Where did the notion that black people don't care about black on black crime come from.? I'm puzzled. Please help me out? Does this go along with we don't care if our kids get an education? Does this go along with black people don't work?
