I just got a message on my computer that Richard Pryor has died at his home, with more details to come. :(

(CNN) -- Groundbreaking Comedian Richard Pryor died Saturday of a heart attack, his wife told CNN. He was 65.

Pryor, who had been ill with multiple sclerosis, died at Encino Hospital near Los Angeles, at 7:58 a.m. PT. Jennifer Lee Pryor tried to revive him before paramedics arrived and took him to the hospital, she said.

"He enjoyed life right up until the end," she said. "At the end there was a smile on his face."

Pryor, who was born in Peoria, Illinois, on December 1, 1940, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1986.

"He was able to turn pain into comedy," his wife said. "He let the world see it, and that was his inspiration too.

"People said, 'If he can do it, I can do it.' "

I don't know Thames. I have to go with Mudbone's trip to see Ms. Rudolph.

Cat Daddy,

Well it would sort of be like " Come Christmas tha bit*h got a goose or turkey commin" and "you can see him at the zoo ... the polar bear with tiny little feet" vs...... The wino directing traffic on Sunday morning; " Look at that ni**a junior ... use to could book numbers without pencil or paper ... now he don't know who he is" and "Who gone clean up the blood ... you ugly bi*ch.

*** For those who have no idea of what we are talking about, you would have to go back and hear these two bits by Richard Pryor.

That Ni**er was Crazy, but he was also the G.O.A.T

If you want to see some funny s*** get the 3 DVD collection of "The Richard Pryor Show" that was on NBC in 1977. I got mine from Circuit City but I have seen it at Wal-Mart for about $35.00.

RIP Richard. This has been a rough year; Johnny Cochran, Luther, Rosa Parks, now Richard.

About to have a marathon of "Live In Concert" and "Live On The Sunset Strip" and his "Wattstax" bits all night long.

R.I.P. Daddy Rich

We are losing some Great ones in 2005.

Rick, Luther, Ray, now Richard.

Rest in Peace, the True King of Comedy.
