Reunited.....TSPN's Memory Lane

Aww dayum P, now you got me ready to apologize. How in de heyell could I forget about Byron W. B, I'm sorry dawg, schit I forgot LaCumba, and SUper Jag 96 too. Fella's don't hate me. My memory bank was on overdrive yesterday, and it took me all day to put this thread together. I don't know how many times I started, and stopped before finishing.

Byron, when you posted those pictures from JSU's campus on your visit, I thought the mafia was going to come through the board, and collectively whip your arse. I still laugh thinking about that broken down concession stand. :lmao:

SUper Jag, you had to have one of the most priceless thread's ever. That GSU Horse Whisperer thread was off the hook. Just seeing that horse begging for a ride out of Grambling before the Orchesis took his hair, still has my stomach hurting.

Also, Mighty Hornet's Lil Darryl pictures of Pete, after the FAMU internet game. Man I didn't want to laugh, but that schit was too funny. "Leeee Me Alooonnnne."

P, those were the days.

Suge's big arse definitely drew the ladies ire with some of his post, and responses.

NICE

HTH (How The "L") could I forget about SJ96's "Horse Whispers" and don't forget (sorry TSU y'all LMMFAO!!! DYING LMAO!!!!! :emlaugh: :bawling: :emlaugh: ) when he or someone started that TSU Ocean Of Soul vs Japan/"The Emperor" thread where there were SEVERAL pix of Japanese/The Emperor/Godzilla :emlaugh:  :lmao:/Yao/et al Japanese w/ the captions saying stuff like <b>"Get them way from henyah!" "They stealy erry'thang!" "Who dis people come take camera from camera sto'!" *Godzilla saying something like:* "I run from these *MFs*!! THEY TOO STRONG!!!!"</b> :emlaugh: :slap: :emlaugh: Man I swear, everybody I worked around thought I was crazy because I was LITERALLY PHYSICALLY on one knee in front of my workstation DYING LMAO (like now lmao!) reading that stuff.

Those pix that BW took of that decrepit unused stadium had me ROTFLOL!!!! Erry'body from JState was gonna' get him and his brother who was "the captain" @ that time lol! lol ;)

That pic of Lil Darryl vs Petey was classic!!!! Man!!!! LMAO!!!! The good ol' days!!!!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! How could I forget *F*er Hall on FAM's campus?! :emlaugh: :slap: :emlaugh: :lmao: :emlaugh: :slap: *F* her Hall... :bawling: :emlaugh: JST/JSX was just on another level. :emlaugh:

When the ladies "Womancotted" TSPN had me ROTFLOL too!!!! They didn't post for a whole day or something like that. The stuff that Suge and 'nem was saying when they KNEW the ladies were reading had me DYING LMAO!!!! :emlaugh:

Let me stop. This is too much. lol

Now, as my name implies, SU is my heart, but I gotta go on and admit that I was kinda smilin' at those Mama Jag posts. Congrats to her being inducted into the Southern Sports Hall of Fame - love her to death, but y'all jacked her up some kinda bad!!!

Man, that Byron W thread (pre 2000) with pics of J-State's campus had the Mafia in fits. Old heads remember that this logo

pacifier.gif
represented the Mafia long before Old Faithful. The Mafia would whine about everything.

ATL TSPNers (1998-2000) started this reunion thing. We would meet at Dugan's (I think this is the name of the joint on Ponce de Leon), kellis's pad for fish fries, etc. throughout the year. MH repped Bama State, TP - J-State, kellis, Jag03, CrazyJag (I think this was his screen name) -- SU, etc. and of course I held it down for the Icon.

Prior to 2000, posters had to think if they really wanted to smack (on the smack board) because you really would get run off the board. Creative threads were at an all time high. The smack board was by far the most popular board; today, the boards are more evenly distributed in terms of post. Gram and J-State smack feuds were the deadliest (fitting as the SWAC's most renowned programs). Gram had that Quachita Parish Hotboy (Suge KNupe), SOG, Smithy Smith (what happened to him), ER, Spirit, myself, etc; J-State had G.R., JST, robber, TP, Battle Cat, etc. Man, when I think back we all are only shells of what we once were. LOL!

JST was a damn fool posting during his Gator days. SWACPAGE Hall of Fame inductees were well deserved. Man, the laughing is endless -- over 7 years of TSPN memories!

We can not forget about your instigatin @$$ (Pison, Panthro). LOL! Those were the good ole days!

Aaaaahhhhhhhhh, the memories. It brings a tear to my eye reading these posts.

How can I ever forget posting about seeing the LEGENDARY Eddie Robinson buying a ticket to the JSU-Gram game in '99 (I think). The Cartel had a hissy fit over that one.

Crying Eddie pics almost caused a riot.

JST and those damn lambs, messing with Bama State.

<font size=1>The trouble this thread's starter caused.</font>

Taryn and Pison going at it. Is it pronounced "Piss" or . . . :lmao:

NICE, how did you remember ole "Q". Why did Tara take that site away from us???

Whatever happened to GSU Kenn, GSU Jeff and Ricky Jefferson??? Those guys seemed to be pretty cool.

Anyone remember when "Freeman Holyfield" posted under his own name. He disappeared. Next thing you know, some cat named "Mighty Dog" shows up.

Get Ready and Jag03 going at it over a bet from the '00 JSU-SU game. Classic. Did GR ever get paid???

Pat O's during the Bayou Classic.

Cutty Buddies.

And the dude that fell over at the ATL Reunion bbq, and didn't waste a drop out of that cup. Anybody still got that pic.

Who wouuld've thought the board would've shut down? :emlaugh:

Man somebody had to bring order to the 00's, they were popping up all over the place, the puddin's didn't know what him them.

I think the classic, of all classic picture's was the one of Mighty Hornet standing in the parking lot with his hands raised to the lord after ASU beat JSU for the 2nd time in a row. You would've sworn Mighty Hornet had just been saved. :emlaugh:

What about that racoon picture (what was that dayum c**n's name) being banned from the MEAC page.

I don't think nobody could forget GSUpe's picture's of the Pot O Gold port a potties at Mumford.

Speaking of Mighty Dog, when he gave the mafia that Spam at the first reunion, I dayum near fell over, when Plow gave him those cans.

Another TSPN classic was the band board members taking over Small Talk, because the moderators closed their board. Funny as hell.

No offense TRU, but when Jag 03 posted a picture of Homer Simpson sitting on a couch with his boxers on, and that was supposed to be you, man that schit was funny as all get out

Dayum this page has had it's moments.

NICE

lmao yeah that was pretty funny!!! 6 yrs later....people loved to jump on bandwagons back then lol

I was laughing at how you inspired that whole "My Household is still intact" thread! TSPN has seen alotta drama because of ya mayne:emlaugh:

me being a TSPN vet..(yeah I remember Ricky Jefferson) I remember all those things yall listed. just think if the board hadnt kept crashin we would still have all these "infamous" threads..

Don't forget about GR threads about Ron Cooper. Man that onside kick junk was funny
Grrrraaaa, the"Phat Mack", JST and Mighty Hornet has inspired some of the funniest threads in the history of the SP. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
Man the SP has a Great History!!

Remember when we lost that bet with the Meac Board and had to have that dam MEACfans site picture up there where our beloved TSPN is located.
Dam you SU!!! LOL....

Yeah Tru that whole thing when the Homer Simpson pic was rolling.....

Hold up one dayum minute....I don't know why people keep implying that I am somehow a trouble maker. Everypne knows that I am shy, quiet, and rerserved. At the 1st reunion, and all other meetings I have been on the sidelines.....in a corner, minding my own.

More memories....

How can yall forget about the swacpage scriptures, after the board went dwn and when we went to MEACfans to take over?

Robbers son making a post to Uncle Suge.....what's up Grameron!

The fact that everytime you saw D-nice or a picture was posted, he had on some white!!!

And I am still the most decorated SWACpage award winner!!! Sorry, had to get my shine on!!

Things are not what they were in the pass!

"I'LL NEVER TELLLLLLLLLL...."

:lmao:

Dirty had a good one right there! :D

Ahhh....the memories.

Back in the day, the SMACKBOARD was definitely fierce.
I remember my battles with JST (Ntelekt Gump vs Day in the Life of J-State Tiger)

...Doug and Coach Rob in Robinson Stadium (CONTAGIOUS)...

...MUDford Stadium and Supa Bee in his Jeep...

...the "I ain't part of no clique" CLIQUE on Small Talk...:emlaugh:

*sigh*...the way things used to be.

Woooooo-lawd!! I have been laughing so hard my head hurts!! :D I remember going thru some MAJOR withdrawals when the board crashed that first time. I kept calling Kenn bugging the heck out of him. I sho remember going toe to toe with JSU*ATL. Classic. Pison, err, Panthro just made it worse?imagine that. :smh: Wow. And someone mentioned that back then you HAD to be creative and you HAD to know what you were talking about. True smack was when you could make someone mad and make them laugh at the same time. Now it?s just down right disrespectful. Things just ain?t the same.

Remember the first time the non-tech folks learned how to use bold, or color or big fonts in our posts? Back then we didn?t have smileys or other icons that you could just ?click? on. You had to ?program? it yourself. We played all day. I wonder how much work we got done during that time. Back then I was working at a job that was so freaking boring that all I did was post on the page all day (this was before my NCAA days). I still can NOT believe how long the page has been in existence. We have seen some major changes and developments. And the exchanges with the MEAC folks were classic!!!

D-Nice, I have no clue how you remembered everyone. Great trip down memory lane!!

PVAM Alum Cheerleader aka Tara, you haven't posted any pictures of yourself in a while. Do you still look the same, or is your camera broke?

NICE
No, the camera is not broke. I just choose to stay behind it now. But for old time's sake here's a recent (taken Sunday) picture of me. Don't look for anymore in the future. :p
