No brainer, ATL: it's centralized.
Yep. It's like the gateway city that separates both conferences like the Arch in St. Louis divides the East from the West.
It only makes sense.
N.O? Houston?

Love Atl or Hate Atl, but Atl is the best location for that game.
Can this game be rotated between three cities (New Orleans, Atlanta, Houston) like the BCS National Championship game??? I do believe New Orleans and Houston have never hosted a SWAC/MEAC bowl game before, but Atlanta has.
This is indeed the best place... location wise to have this game. It is what it is....
Houston
Dallas
New Orleans
ATL
Rotation would be nice...
If you gonna do a rotation (which is not wise for sponsorships and city support), you gotta add some MEAC cities in the rotation like Charlotte or DC. Let's just settle on one place (ATLANTA  ) and call it a wrap. Honestly, STL which has a dome would also be "somewhat" neutral territory. And I don't think going to Houston would be a good look for the SCG. Houston is excited about the SCG. They will be lulled with a second game.
Ain't nobody flying to Cali that close to Christmas/New Year.
yeah, I just dont see another domed/city fit other than ATL (which I'm a fan of).
ESPN only is caring about people watching the game on tv. They won't be making much money on ticket sales. Their income will come from TV AD sales. The game will be played in Orlando from what I last heard.
The only school against this till the end is just A&T. If A&T didn't have a president raising a fit, the game would've been announced by now.
In the Chancellor's eyes, the game goes against his goals of diversifying and growing the Aggie student body.
We've tried to get into other conferences but ground couldn't be gained.
A bowl game would hurt NCATs ability to attract white people?

If he wants to assimilate that bad, have him make your AD schedule all PWC for non conference games. I hope someone gives you all a chance to play in another conference if the consensus is that your school and alums are not pleased with the direction the MEAC is going in. You did have 3 teams that also finished in 1st place that sat down and watched the playoffs this year. :smh:  :emlaugh: Props on those 2 playoff appearances A&T made the last 15 seasons. How much did it grow and diversify your campus and when did your illustrious leadership first discovered the prowess of this phenomenal recruiting tool?
They do not understand that the SWAC is good if this game does not happen.
Don't shoot the messenger.

No one's shooting the messenger. Would you please answer the question? Inquiring minds would like to know...
Maybe NCA&T's Chancellor can ask Jesse Jackson to put together a protest rally to help gain some ground into another conference.
Or we can just continue what we are doing now.
Well, the enrollment went up from 99-06 then dipped once the economy and Football tanked. Now enrollment is back on the upswing and so is Aggie Football with 3 straight seasons with 7 or more wins. Are they correlated? Beats me but this is what's going on in GSO.
With our Preeminence 2020 initiative, our Admins feel this path towards separating ourselves from the rest of the FCS level, whom many in our region we compete with for students, isn't the best thing for A&T, even though we have a squad that will be a favorite to win the Conference and be competitive in the bowl game.
IMHO, with what I learned about Liberty U and the Big South, there aren't any alternatives for A&T that are better than the bowl game. I also, agree with Dr. Cavil regarding many of his company's ideas about HBCU Athletics.
