Report: MEAC voted to have MEAC/SWAC championship

I'm sure if what he is saying about the Chancellor has ANY veracity, JJ would be perceived as a separatist that is antithetical to their cause. :emlaugh:

So NCA&T has the Alan Keyes type for their Chancellor. I'm sure folks from AAMU knows exactly what they are going through.

If you gonna do a rotation (which is not wise for sponsorships and city support), you gotta add some MEAC cities in the rotation like Charlotte or DC. Let's just settle on one place (ATLANTA  ) and call it a wrap. Honestly, STL which has a dome would also be "somewhat" neutral territory. And I don't think going to Houston would be a good look for the SCG. Houston is excited about the SCG. They will be lulled with a second game.
Orlando is ESPN, you saw it here first just remember that.

Secondly TP, SCG is toast.

Well even more reason for Disney/ESPN to give their folks in the West a shot. LA in January suits me just fine.

I think they should move the Challenge to the West Coast.

So you are going to take the game away from the folks who have Supported all season. Stupid with a capital S.

How are you doing that? No matter what people will have to travel to get to the game and not be playing in their home state or stadium.

ATL is ideal. Right next door. Perfect traveling proximity for #myASU.

Remember Swac folks were complaining about traveling all the way to Alabama for the SCG.

This may be the best place to have it. If no dome, the weather may be much better there than anywhere else for a outdoor venue.

Have the Challenge in California and the Bowl game in Florida. Disney is in both locations.

.
By moving the game to La or Orlando. Any location that's not a comfortable car ride for folks will kill the crowd. The majority won't be able to afford A flight on two weeks notice before Christmas.

Westcoastaggie, how do the alums feel? Are they behind the Chancellor?

We generally like Harold. He is an Aggie and I think he wants A&T to succeed and be around. He is growing enrollment and growing our academic profile. Regarding the whole Preemience 2020 thing had a bumpy roll-out but we are behind it.

And regarding football, as long as we play/beat NCCU, SC State & Winston-Salem, most of us do not care about conference affiliation. We're kinda like "meh" as a group and really haven't came out one way or another on this. On our message board, there is a debate about whether we should be back in the Ciaa.

Most people with his background are very practical. He's an electrical engineer. I'm sure he knows how to determine the feasibility of something.

True! The Bowl game should be in ATL, or New Orleans. My pick is New Orleans. It's centrally located.

It's about opening your mind. I think it would do well in L.A.

You got West alums who feel left out.

So you are going to depend of folks who hadn't supported all season for the most part. It would be great for the Challange, but the the championship should be a reward to the folks who support you all season. You know how pissed off folks would be lol. All this back and forth is irrelevant as it will be held in ATL according to Kerr.
