Does he know how dumb that sounds. Like his coach can guard Quinn himself. Ain't nothing JSU coaches are going to do to stop Quinn unless they don't kick to him. He ain't been stopped in 2 years but he will be stopped his 3rd year? Right.............
Jr, you act like Quinn just returns kicks every game.... He can be stopped. He gets stopped EVERY game. JSUs special teams last year could not stop anyone until they changed the personnel. Every team we played was running back kicks to the 50.

Dude, the MEAC was not much better than the SWAC if any better from top to bottom.
I agree that he is a good coach but I am sure you follow the MEAC pretty well. This is a different league. If he brings his DC with him, they will have a hard time stopping the pass. They didn't have to worry about that much in the MEAC. They pretty much had no good QBs in the MEAC last year. Hampton went to the air and they had no answer. Maybe they didn't have DBs either. But again, we shall see. I have no DOUBT that he will get a SWAC title tho.. but it won't be 3-4 in a row like he was doing in MEAC-land.
..and when the Legacy Bowl becomes a reality, we will see how much better the MEAC is.
Dude only had about three runbacks for TD's. They are really overrating the dude.
The MEAC-SWAC Challenge over the last decade, and other matchups outside of that game, has been heavily in the favor of the MEAC.

Read that and ask yourself......Does that make any sense.
Yeah it makes sense because you all act like when he touches the ball it's an automatic TD or something. We got something for HIM and for SU next year...
The MEAC SWAC Challenge is not a good gauge. Some of the games have been even such as when JSU played Hampton and SU played Del State and one team HAD to lose but MOST of them have put good MEAC teams vs bad SWAC teams. A Legacy Bowl type situation would eliminate that. I know for a fact that 3-8 GSU and 5-6 AlaState played SCState teams that ended up with 9+ wins. Just like this year, A&T with an established system was a mismatch for AAMU.
Wait, this says "close". Did I miss something? The way these folks are acting is like the ink has dried and he's in Montgomery unpacking. Please don't let him pull a "Comegy's Norfolk Fiasco".ASU 'close' to hiring Bethune's Jenkins

Alabama State University has found its next football coach.
Bethune-Cookman University coach Brian Jenkins has agreed in principle to take over the Hornets program, ASU trustee chairman Locy Baker said Tuesday afternoon.
"We're very close," Baker said. "It's not a done deal yet, but we hope it will be by tonight. Nothing is finalized until he signs, but we feel like we're right there."
The hire of Jenkins would be a major coup for ASU.
Jenkins is one of the hottest young coaches in all of college football, particularly in the Football Championship Division, where he's been courted by a variety of top programs. In the past few years, Jenkins has flirted with taking open positions at Southern University, Jackson State University and UAB.
Since taking over the BCU program in 2010, he's compiled a 46-14 record overall, going 34-6 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), and making three trips to the NCAA playoffs.
A few days ago, Baker told the Montgomery Advertiser that he feared ASU didn't have the money in the budget to lure Jenkins to Montgomery.

But JSU, a team that the year before played for the SWAC title, needed a Hailmary to beat a really bad FAMU team this past season. BCU beat up a Grambling State team that reeled off seven straight SWAC conference wins after that.
And NCAT was 5th in the MEAC standings a year ago. Five teams tied for first place this season. It shows the depth of that league.

The same JSU that lost to Valley and got ran over by half of the SWAC?
And BCU had to fight for that win over Grambling it was far from easy for them.
It's a lot you've missed on this board

And does this disprove that the MEAC is a better football conference than the SWAC?
Your statements earlier certainly didn't prove the MEAC was better either.
