Pimp C, real name Chad Butler -- and one half of the rap duo UGK, was found dead in a hotel room this morning. He was 33.

L.A. County Fire responded to a 911 call at the Mondrian Hotel, located on trendy Sunset Strip in Hollywood. They arrived to his sixth floor hotel room to find him dead in bed.

UGK is best known for appearing on the Jay-Z track "Big Pimpin'" in 2000, and more recently with Outkast on the song "International Player's Anthem (I Choose You)."

This is stunning I just got a text about this. RIP Chad Butler!! I will always bump UGK, he is free now for real!

I just heard this on the radio station here in ATL. Anyone know any details...It must be super knew because I cant find anything on the net.
 



Fuccem.... he is dumb and if you hear him talk he is ignorant. (Atlanta aint the South because they are in Eastern Standard Time) WTF!!! LOL He basically dissed ALOT of the rappers who were wearing Free Pimp C shirts when he was locked up.

Bun B was better by himself.

why did i know you would say that. lol, it's true though. i aint gone lie, i was pissed as hell with him about that, considering i was a UGK mega fan in high school when they came out. its still a sad situation though.

Man....UGK goes back with me to 91......Pocket Full of Stones. As they said back in 96, "One day you're here and the next day you're gone..."


RIP Chad, AKA Sweet James Jones. :smh:
