On offense I would have to vote for Bruce Bigg a.k.a Bruce Eugene. After coming off a solid freshman season Bruce Bigg has made Grambling a better team than last years team, which dealt with a lot of inconsistency. He's been a force this year throwing for over 3,000 yards and over 30 TDs. Bruce Bigg leads the SWAC in PASSING AVG/GAME ,TOTAL OFFENSE, and
PASS EFFICIENCY
On Defense, it's a tie between A&Ms Robert Mathis and Bama State's Antoine Hill. Both had unbelievable seasons with Mathis having already having 14.5 sacks and Hill with 10 ints. If I had to choose it would have to been done with a coin toss.
Special Teams, is a tie between two players from Bama State, David Beckford and Shawn Holmes. Beckford is perhaps the best punter in the nation today and is a NFL prospect. He's led the SWAC in punting all 4 years that he's been at ASU. Shawn Holmes is ranked third in KICK RETURN AVG and second in PUNT RETURN AVG and ALL PURPOSE YARDs.
