I really, really, really, really, really, really, hope that Bama and ANY TEAM COACEHED BY URBAN MEYER meet in the BCS Championship Game. If it happens this year, I guarantee you that Bama would beat them by five touchdowns. Yes, five. If they had been eligible last year, and Bama had played them instead of ND, Bama would have beaten that team by eight touchdowns. They were'nt even as good as Notre Dame.

I agree. Meyer had SEC talent at Florida. Recruiting 2nd class south guys up to Ohio is going to get him whopped
And what is different than playing UAB and Kent State? Everybody is going to SCHEDULE cupcakes. Your LSU Tigers do so as well,
Shut the hell up I am not just talking their non conference!
If you believe this you have got to believe that Alabama is a fraud too this year have you seem their schedule a trip on air force one to the national championship!
JR said:. . . Why you Bama guys hate on Urban so much . . .
Just to come in and say if LSU loses more than 3 games...LES is on the hot seat and I can see 3 loses....
If SU has a better record going into month of October...The city will be bananas
so a team that has won 3 of the last 4 BCS Championships is a fraud? Just because Ohio State runs through a soft ass Big 10 they some contenders now????
P.S. Yeah I've seen Bama's schedule. They play Va. Tech, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and LSU to name a few, yeah that really compares to playing Northwestern, Purdue, Indiana, and Michigan..............
JR, I'm gonna be honest with you . . . I don't like the guy. I just don't. By the way, they don't like him that much in Florida these days either. I believe Florida people see him kinda like a carpetbagger who just came through their program for a few years, made his money, furthered his career, and got the "L" on. They don't see him as a true Gator, or someone who was ever truly committed to their program. Spurrier, on the other hand, is still loved and respected by many Florida fans. Most of them wanted him back after the Ron Zook "error".
Anyway, there's just always been something about him that just didn't feel right to me. Is he a good coach? Of course. I'm not saying that he's not. He's won everywhere he's been. But if Saban hangs around at Alabama (and I believe he will), I can see him putting some arse whippins of Biblical proportions on Meyer. For the record, I don't think Saban is that fond of Meyer either. That can't be good . . . for Meyer.

That's not even close to what she is saying.
What is she saying then? I posted Ohio State's full schedule and just picked out a couple none conference games, but looked in conference and said they would only be challenged by maybe Michigan.
Looking at Bama's schedule, they have some cupcakes too, but they will be challenged many times throughout their schedule. My point was looking at Ohio St.'s schedule, just about every year they waltz through the Big 10. Tell me i'm lying.

JR said:. . . Actually Saban and Meyer are cool . . .
That's not what I hear. They may have coached together decades ago, and have professional respect for each, but I'm told that Meyer is not one of Sabans favorite people - and that's putting it mildly.
. . . Hell folks in the know say he really tried to keep Cam Newton at Florida. Saying his activities were light weight compared to the other isht that was going on with UF players . . .
Does anyone know what Aaron Hernandez and Riley Cooper have in common? Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmm.......
. . . If Nick wasn't coaching Alabama and Meyer was. You would hate Nick.
No I wouldn't. I have always respected, and admired Saban. I didn't hate him when he was at LSU. I didn't hate Spurrier when he was at Florida, and he whipped Bama more than anybody.
Overall, LSU has about the 7th toughest schedule in the country.

This isn't about Ohio State or Florida for me. Its about Meyer. The truth about him is slowly coming out . . . one player at a time.
number1 said:Dude shut up with that crap. I guess we should blame Saban for Rolando McClain and his gun problems?
Actually Saban and Meyer are cool. They were on staff together as assistants with Tressel under Earle Bruce at Ohio State back in the day. Both are sully types and can rub you the wrong way.

Florida folks have nobody to blame but themselves for Urban rolling out. Well at least half of it. If they had just let Urban keep recruiting black QBs to Florida, they would have been fine after Tebow. They forced local Florida guy Brantley on Urban who did not fit his system. Right now a white QB barely can get an offer to Ohio State. LOL. He would have never been able to do that at UF. Hell folks in the know say he really tried to keep Cam Newton at Florida. Saying his activities were light weight compared to the other isht that was going on with UF players but they kicked ole Cam out. They knew Brantley was coming and them boosters wanted their homeboy to play after the Tebow era.
Urban and Nick are both arse holes I believe. Just my opinion. I probably rather hang out with Les Miles. He seems like the nicer guy of them 3. I met Bob Stoops on Ohio State's campus and he is pretty cool. So is Mack Brown. If Nick wasn't coaching Alabama and Meyer was. You would hate Nick. LOL. Neither one seems like they are a people person. Both are polarizing. I am sure a lot of folks hate Nick too. It is what it is. I don't think no Urban team will get beat by 5 TDs by anybody. I can't see it. Ohio State may not play in the strong SEC. But Urban does have some SEC level talent he is stockpiling. We will see. I don't think this is the year. I think the media is overzealous with that. I think 2014 is the year they should be ready to take down the SEC.
The apples don't fall very far from the tree. Aaron Hernandez and Riley Cooper are both Gators, and both connected to Urban Meyer.
Deal with it.

Florida's schedule is a beast though. At Miami, at South Carolina, at LSU, vs Florida State, vs Georgia, vs. Vanderbilt.
