Ive never seen a team run for 300 yards in one half and still lose

Monticello is 30 minutes south of PB. They have rooms. It's on the way.
The only town close to 30 minutes is White Hall AR lol. I think they have a few. I lucked up and called 2 rooms in Pine Bluff and they said they had a few left.

Jag-BR, at one of our basketball games this past season, it was announced we would play Southern for homecoming. About a week later, our finalized schedule came out. When that happened, the hotels were immediately booked. By the first of April, there were no hotels available in PB during the week of homecoming.

From Little Rock, it takes me approximately 6 hours to get to BR (Southern U campus), so from PB, you're looking at about 5.5 hours. The game starts at 2:30pm and will probably end close to 5:30pm. Factor in the traffic, and anyone going back to BR should be back home around 11:30pm or midnight.

Yeah I thought so. I think 5 hours and 30 isn't too bad. Most of our trips this year could possibly be turn arounds. Montgomery, Itta Bena, and maybe UAPB.

No, it's a little over 50 miles from Pine Bluff to Monticello; it's almost an hour drive.

Lord knows I'm exhausted, I'm not thinking straight; if any of the SU alum plan to come to the UAPB/SU game, you will NOT go through Monticello. From BR to PB, simply take 61N all the way to Natchez, take the 425/84 exit (Vidalia) and cross the Mississippi; you'll go through Vidalia and Ferriday, and then take 65N all the way back to Pine Bluff (go through Tallulah, Lake Providence, cross in to Arkansas). That is almost a direct path from BR to PB.

Dumas is about 44 miles from PB; it's on the way to/from and you don't have to get off Hwy 65; to get to Monticello, you'd have to take 65 and then get on 425.

i am not doing a turnaround to Montgomery or Pine Bluff.

For old folks like myself that don't like to drive long distance, does Pine Bluff have an airport with commercial flights or what would be the nearest airport? I probably won't be going to the game this year, but I might try to make a game against Southern in the future.

Off topic...Delta Airlines started in Tallulah, LA as a crop dusting services.

We're fortunate that my bro-in-law is from Pine Bluff and can stay with one of his brothers or sisters when we visit. We stayed in Memphis in 2011. Want do that again.

Sorry but that's not a turn around trip.

Exactly.. 2-3 hours is turnaround. Other than that.. u need a room.

Well, this one time me and GSUperTiger rolled from ATL to Grambling and then came right back but that's cause we both had BIG exams on Monday and we probably shouldn't have been going anyway. LOL

easy here,

MVSU would be the logical choice since the other 8 schools already have established rivalries within their respective states...........TSU-PV, GSU-SU, JSU-ALCORN, ASU-AAMU ...........UAPB-MVSU would be the one........

No, PB does not have an airport (of any kind). The nearest is the Bill & Hiliary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock. Little Rock is 42 miles from PB; it takes me 40 minutes to/from.

I guess there are not many options when it comes to traveling to and staying in Pine Bluff. Being that the City of Pine Bluff probably has just as many people or more than the City of Monroe, LA, seems like it would have more places to stay and an airport with commercial flights.

"I dont know if they rivals, but su got they ass whooped"

You do realize....

.....Never mind. I just realized who I was replying to and refuse to waste my time on delusional folk. :smh:

Seems like Pine Bluff has had the most success against JSU

Jackson St. (MS) 13 22 1 0.37500
Grambling St. (LA) 14 29 2 0.33333
Southern (LA) 14 43 3 0.25833

Especially since they beat JSU twice in once season. Matter of fact, LAST SEASON!

Does every thread have to turn into a JSU thread? I really believe that to deny SU posters the letters J-S-U would be the equivalent of denying a fish water.

The thread could be titled; "Alligator kills bird" and SU posters would type something like "that alligator killed that bird like SU does JSU every year" or "maybe that alligator can bite off some of Comegy fat"

Su posters are funny to me pop...it's like sometimes they want to band together ex: apr situation. Then get mad when we don't want to join them. Then they flip and create thread after thread about jsu, or they mention jsu. They are hilarious to me. On the slick, I think they have a weird love/hate relationship with us.

umm pops,
You picked the wrong thread to post that, cause reading through this thread, it's easy to see your own folks got it off track.

IJS...
