I have no problem w/this what-so-ever. I've already signed all the forms and spoken to the teachers and principals. I have told them to deal w/my child accordingly, should he get out of line, while at school...and, they already KNOW that I will deal w/him accordingly, at the crib.

I'm old-school...I don't play w/no damn kids. A child should remain in a child's place. I have no problems beating ass. The Good Book tells you to train up a child in the way he/she should go, so when they're older, they won't depart from it. Spare the rod, spoil the child.

That's what's wrong with the schools and society as whole. We aint beating our kids ass when the fuk up. Then they grow up and start stealing, killing and raping folx cause we didnt curve (curb) that behavior when they were little.

Teachers are like sarogate parents when the kids are at school.
They should treat them with the same respect they would if you were standing right next to them in class.

Hmmm, I agree to a certain extent. I think I'd only want the principal to be able to administer licks to my child and no more than 2. Call me, I'll administer the rest of the licks.

One of my coworkers was reassigned pending an investigation because a parent said that he was too rough with her child while breaking up a fight. The truth is the kid hit him and he still only held the child by the back of his pants, yet there was a news story on it and the mother is publicly calling for this teacher's (a very good teacher by the way) job. Never did they mention that this child just returned to school after making bail because he has a charge of attempted murder hanging on him, and a juvenile rap sheet as long as my arm, and for this reason CPS is looking to remove him from the home with his mother anyway, but the teacher is the one suffering, thats bullshat. There were no less than 3 fights at the school yesterday, and I advised teachers not to break em up. Just call the officer and wait for them to tire out or kill each other, but fugg putting my job, freedom, and life on the line for an unappreciative public and system that expects you to do the impossible with absolutley no support at all!

This is funny and the very reason I could never be a teacher! :winkgrin:

And, if the teachers have a problem tightening they butts up, I would quickly volunteer for that committee...:nod:

It is entirely too little discipline in our schools today. They will suspend you (i.e. send you on a vacation), but that is not cutting it....:smh:
Too many times, you see such a lack of discipline/structure at home, that you clearly can see why there are many problems. That is another reason that "someone" should have the opportunity to help get these kids on the right track.

Don't take my sterness for anger. I am that parent in the mall and at the park and at the games telling the fellas to pull their pants up; put on a belt; take off that doo rag in public; hold the door for that lady and little girls; stop cussing around these folks;take your hat off in here....etc. We need more willing workers in our "villages" for there are too many children that need to be "raised".:lecture:

Then when they get home NOTHING HAPPENS because mom could not deal with it right then because she either has to get her nails done, hair done, smoke a BLUNT, or has to chase down some niggum. In a nutshell NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN THEY GET HOME...

Yes, Sweetie, the principal. I guess it would depend on the teacher; beyond that, the principal most definitely. And yes, I grew up w/Coach Jesse Sutton, Jr. (Well over 400lbs.)who would whip your arse w/a customized board that had holes in it (for prosterity) if you talked during lunch - no questions asked nor a chance for "appeal." Sad part is he didn't take names during lunch - he has some piss wipe taking them & every day EVERY BODY got written up for talking (which sometimes could've been chewing) that did NOT sit at his table. That shti gets old. 1 lick from that man & you'd be sore 'til the next day - seriously. I never thought that was fair. I felt sorry for those who had to take more licks. I guess you'd say I feel there may be some teachers who can be over-zealous w/punishment. My godmother whipped Roshae Beasley EVERY DAY in 7th grade study hall. Many times it didn't seem as if the boy was doing anything. Did I mention she would whip the boy w/his OWN belt. :no: I told her about that shti last year.......

I'm sure none of that stuff happens today - I'm just cautious. Plus, like I said, call me. I'll come up there and put on a good dancing show w/Lil Buster.

I'm not parent or educator, but I went to an all boys catholic school in New Orleans. Those Priest swung a mean paddle. After my first encounter with them, I didn't cause any trouble, never late for school or class, uniform and tie pressed.

I'ma call and bug yo azz RIGHT AT WORK, and document all that boorish assed behavior, until SOMEONE is pissed off enough to do something about it, or all my documentation gets his/her ass sent off to AEP or some isht.

That's what I'M gone do. Can't speak for anyone else.

You call a parent and disrupt their work day as their kid is disrupting yours enough times, they're either going to get with that kid, or get his ass the hell outta my classroom.

I win either way.

Heck, only about 10% of my parents work.

I have beat a lot of butts in my day. Hated every minute of it. I think it should be a lst resort, and there are so many other ways. I THINK IT SHOULD BE REQUIRED THAT THE PARENTS WHIP THAT BUTT.
In todays world I would not let the school whip my child. That is a complete turn around for me.
Many of the adults are sick today.

Because of my own situations with bad, racist, inadequate, pedophile teachers (in the Chicago Public School System)...I would question a teachers motive in using corporal punishment on my kids. But I am also that mom who told the security detail I needed a private office to beat the **** out of my son when I did a sneak attack on him at school.

That was one of my initial reasons for saying that I would handle things myself and just call me.
But if I personally know and trust the teacher, I may be open to it. But I'm almost 99% sure my husband wouldn't down with CP... he won't even let us get a babysitter here in Atlanta.

Do not send my child home for a day or two, who is it really punishing? The child is not really affected for being at home. I do not even like In School Suspension.

My husband is an administrator and he sends the habitual offenders home every week. You think they and their parents get it, no......:whine:
