Parents Parents Parents

GUD, how has your experience teaching in TX been different that than Maryland? Were the student worse in Maryland?

They are truly out of line in this district bruh!!!! My only dislike is that they are always trying to talk me out of something because of the PARENTS..... This is not personal it is BUSINESS

My daughter was acting up in Kindergarten. I told my principal, "I need to go see about my baby."

I went to that school, checked her out, took her home, WHUPPED THAT TAIL SOME GOOD, took her back to school, and went back to work.

THAT was about the LAST time we heard from that school about her ...

I think if my kids had to choose between calling me and taking some swats with a paddle, all THREE of them would put their hands on the wall and make it do what it do ...

Okay, I went straightway to SU Lab and whipped my son's ass so much so that the teacher grabbed me and said, that's enough. I'm like W~, I can and will kick his behind for acting a dayum fool in school. Teachers have a tremendous task at hand fool with some BS from a little nigeroach. When my son was having problems last semester, it just about killed me. He is doing SOOOOO much better. You have to be proactive, and sit down with the teachers and tell them all you support them and want your child to do his/her best. You have to be involved in your child's life and find out what is happening to them, what is going on in their lives and then let them know you expect good behavior and no ass-acting-out!

I'd rather deal with it. I recall in elementary school, a buddy of mines mom went to the school and whooped his tail in front of the class, he was a model citizen after that.

Not necessarily. Good parents can have wayward chirren.

Sometimes it can depend on who the kids friends are. If they have bad friends, they will tend to follow and do what they do. Prime example: My cousin has parents that were active in his life when he was a kid. They went on trips, bought him pretty-much anything he wanted. They also disciplined him when needed. He started hanging out with kids that had parents that didn't give a damn what they did and he ended getting into trouble. He dropped out of school and was hooked on drugs. Sometimes it can be the people in their circle that may cause the kids to act out.

Hmmmm...did we go to school together? I remember my moms did that I have not been the same since......I love that chick even the more because of it.

Sure will....that's why I pray for my son daily and I also preach to him constantly, about being a Leader, not a Follower and having his own mind. Don't do things, just b/c you see someone else doing something...also, don't allow other folks to talk you into doing things you know are wrong.

One of my teachers whipped my butt for acting up in class and then she called my parents and told them about it. She lived across the street from me and knew my parents. She would call you out in class if you were acting out. She was like don't make me call your mom and dad! She was known for doing that.

I have no problem w/this what-so-ever. I've already signed all the forms and spoken to the teachers and principals. I have told them to deal w/my child accordingly, should he get out of line, while at school...and, they already KNOW that I will deal w/him accordingly, at the crib.

I'm old-school...I don't play w/no damn kids. A child should remain in a child's place. I have no problems beating ass. The Good Book tells you to train up a child in the way he/she should go, so when they're older, they won't depart from it. Spare the rod, spoil the child.

That devil is a lie.

Co-Sign!! When I was at The Lab...whenever I got whipped at school, best believe, I caught it at home from pops and that's how it was when he was at The Lab.

Girl, you're a good moma! You 'ol school for real!

I don't have any kids, but if I did and they were outta line I would give the school permission to whip their azz and they they would get another azz whipping once I made it to the school to pick them up and again when we get home. That would make em think twice about showing out again.

My twin sister did the exact same thing with my nephew. He had been cutting up in clas (third grade) and she warned him, if she got another call she will be at school. Call came and she asked a teacher to watch her class, when she got to her son's school, he was already crying. She checked him out of school, went home, waxed that arse, took him back to school and she went back to work. He is 10 now, but she has not had a problem with his behavior

I have no problem with the schools pulling out the paddle.

Thank God I have not had to take a call from the school because one of my boys has been acting out.
