JSU is awful and got totally dominated, but you can still go to SWAC Championship game, lol.... That should be the last thing you all talk about because you all are awful and should not even want to go with that team. Praying for Jerry Mack, lol.

I think it would better to change “Black coaches” to “bad” coaches. It’s not being Black that’s the problem. Black is the original blueprint for all that is good. Not being effective, not being good at your craft is the problem, Black, White, whatever. And don’t get it twisted: coaching well today requires a well rounded skill set that not every coach possesses. Be good or be gone.
No matter who JSU hires next, if the fan base or the city (leaders & businesses) won't financially support the Athletic's program then it will not matter. We fired Comegy for going 7-4 and we still didn't fully support the program. Since 2014, JSU is 14-35, a 45% winning percentage. We can hire Nick Saban and he can't win here either...lol.
The difference is in perception... UNA's recap of our game says "Lions hold on" to defeat AAMU, but it says UNA "dominated" JSU. They were just glad to get out of Crews with a win but considered JSU as just another easy victory. I wish JSU had done better in that game.

Support?! Dude, we lead the SWAC in attendance more than any school most of the time.
Our coaches are in the top three salary-wise.
Our facilities are better than most schools in the SWAC.
And "we" didn't fire Comegy, our AD did because SHE didn't like him.
Our AD also hired Harold Jackson and Hughes, which not many sane folks wanted either of them because they had no experience.
Where have you been all these years?
We're just not getting results from men who've never coached or been head coaches before. They were novices learning how to coach on the fly.
Simply put, bad coaching hires have killed us the last six years. Point blank.
Has little to do with lack of support from fans.
