I blame the AD for talking all that unprofessional bullshit to the Strength Coach thinking her grown ass was gone still put up with that garbage..you dumb mf! Alcorn do better and hire people who practice professionalism...this is BS

The AD has been on a mission to sabotage McNair since Hobson left. He really has an affection toward Ole Miss and really wants to be there. Since he managed to get a football game against Ole Miss in 2028 He has been trying to dismantle the program since. I don't know if I should post this but the hell with it I need signatures . Your AD said football is biggest program, so you got more players. Trevor Lawrence had to miss games at Clemson this Fall because of Covid-19, but someone else just step! You never know what player will rise or be next star. It sends a message that you are scared, not prepared, and doesn’t believe in your players!

SAY IT AGAIN! This changes everything! In fact, this rearranges the entire conference schedule. As for SU, it leaves us with only one home game. I think the SWAC conference should launch an investigation into this Alcorn "opt out" to determine if same is entirely Covid-related. Personally, I have mental question marks as to the validity of this ASU move.

Because of this move, Southern & Alabama A&M now only have one home game.
 
The AD has to learn that the decisions that he made not only affected the football program, but it put a black eye on the whole school. This mess also put the whole SWAC in a bind. I wish Alcorn could get rid of him. That is not right to cancel on schools then to do it 2.5 weeks before you are about to start the first game. He keep this up and we are going to lose the 1 good program that we do have.

Yep, no excuses. Our girls basketball team is playing with only 7 players, but they want it bad. Pure negligence for waiting this late and showing up to SWAC media day. Your players should be furious like Ohio St, Clemson, or etc. The AD did his due diligence by opting out this past Fall for the whole conference, this is pure negligence on Alcorn, you didn’t even try! I see why you never won Celebration Bowl, weak paper champs. Your players should be in a uproar and demanding better!

Did I miss where the Alcorn AD canceled the remainder of the seasons for all Spring sports? This is about Science and safety, right?

Those PWC guys who were good athletes and get token admin jobs take our jobs and get caught in quick sand thinking they have some magic potion. Horne wasn’t prepared for famu and they spat him out. Latching on to Hopson didn’t help Alcorn
 
Just a few thoughts here......When measuring the revenue from hosting the SCG, Alcorn's championship trend, and profit margin for that one game, it should more than justify hiring/staffing and S&C Coach (or whatever position they're contending) that is inhibiting their ability to play. The revenue from that one game should be able to cover that position for a year. I will assume the conference will have zero revenue sharing with them for spring TV revenue and whatever else distribution they may make relating to football. The conference should also levy a financial penalty for non-participation and financial hardship that they have imposed on other conference members. These games should also be counted as a forfeit and counted as losses on their record.

I remember my last year in undergrad a former Roll Tide player who played in the NFL got a token position over the bookstore because Valley hired his wife. My frat had worked at the bookstore for almost 30 years before then yet (he was the manager) the admin allowed him to run him into retirement and pretty much ran it into the ground. As you said, he wasn't prepared. Sad to see how quickly we hire them but we can't get hired like that without being overqualified

Exactly the track team will be in the jet relays in Fort Worth relays in March . Basketball is still going Horne is fine with that because the coaches on those programs are not getting more attention than him.
