You talk about the Saints missing cats on defense, but the defense has played tremendously through four games. Sure, the Saints are missing two running backs, but they still got Drew Brees, Colston, Henderson, Moore and Co. The Colts lose two starting WRs and roll against Denver.

The Browns start some cat named Payton Hillis and he rushes for over 100 yards against the Ravens. The Patriots don't even throw the ball to Randy Moss, no running game and beat the snot out of the Dolphins.

Every team has injuries and setbacks throughout the season, but as good as the Saints are, they should still shouldn't be impacted too much without so and so not in the lineup against the Falcons, Niners and Panthers (with a rookie quarterback).

Sure turnovers are not good, but... wait...turnovers? I thought you classified those as takeaways? (Which actually played a huge role in the Saints beating the Niners on Monday Night Football, but that is neither here nor there).

Actually kicking the field goal on first down was the smart thing to do. You don't want to risk a turnover in the Red Zone. Plus, if something happens with the snap, you can always kick it on second down.

I don't have a long pattern against the Saints. I ranked them as the best team in the NFC last year and ranked them No. 1 in the Power Rankings to start the season when a lot of people had the Jets and Green Bay being better than them.

The Colts are 0-2 in their division because of their starters being out... They rolled over Denver because Denver just maybe ain't that good.

No, the Colts are not 0-2 because they are missing Bob Sanders and another guy. The Colts went 14 weeks without a loss without Bob Sanders, their other starting safety and Mathis and Gonzalez for a good portion of the season. The Colts lost to Houston because they couldn't stop the run. Historically the Colts--even with Bob Sanders--have had a hard time stopping the run at times.

The loss to Jacksonville can be pinned on two turnovers in the Red Zone; one by the backup TE and one by Reggie Wayne.

if you watched the games like you said and didn't lie.. you would have saw.. the Saints without Reggie and Pierre turn the ball over on the goal line ... And another time when our offense was moiving at will...another 7....

14 + 16 = 30

That's what turn overs would do to ANY offense... again we played with out our starting backfield.. the reserves did good.. but the offensive plan was obviously changed because of the absence of Pierre and Reggie..
Had the Saints put up those points early like they should have...That would have broke Carolina's defense down even more.. and it would have been more that 30 points scored.

Washington lost the Texans and Rams, then comes back and beats what was a hot Mike Vick and the Eagles on the road.

Folks were talking about firing the head coach, and Tiki Barber was calling the situation a crisis. New York goes out there and makes the Bears offense look like a pee wee league unit Sunday night. Forgive me for saying the Bears could actually win another game this season, your highness.

I think you might be looking at the wrong track record. Dallas has historically been horrible when it comes to winning road games that they needed to win, especially late in the season on the road. Their offensive line is the problem. Everything else with that team is ok. If any offense that can't sustain drives on the field, a #1 defense (speaking in general) in the NFL would give up yards and points.

I had dumb reasons as to why the Colts should have been ranked ahead of the Saints. LOL Let's examine those reasons.
1. They played in the tougher of the two conferences.
2. They had a rookie head coach
3. They were ranked last in rushing
4. They missed two of their three top WRs in Harrison (retired) and Anthony Gonzalez (injury).
5. The OL featured rookie lineman
6. The Colts lost both of their starting safties and one CB for good portion of the season.

Even with all of that the Colts started the season 14-0.

Your reason as to why the Saints should be ranked higher than the Colts was because they scored a lot of points.

The Majority of the Saints team is BACK!!!!! they are WINNING with out MANY key players ... Hartley makes that EASY ass 23 yarder after the SAINTS IMPROVED defense made the initial stop in OT we are talking about a 4-0 Saints team.

You sound like one of the idiots that just can't wait for ANY team to beat the Saints.. even if the Saints team caught the flu' and the BENCH had to play... you would put a lot of stock into that loss...

This is no different from the reasons why New England was ranked so high most of last year and why many including you just HAD to have the Colts ranked ahead of the Saints when they both were undefeated.....
