The Chargers lost to the Chiefs. They shouldn't be there. Replace them with the Giants. They will surprise some people this year....

bout to be 3-0. With Revis out, Brandon Marshall should have a nice game. And depending on what happens with Braylon Edwards....I cant see the Jets beating the Dolphins.
Defense is balling, the running game will always work, just need to let Henne let loose a little..and it should be another W.

Don't worry, the Ravens and Jets will be higher in the rankings soon enough. I don't anticipate the Bears or Chiefs to be that high for the remainder of the season. However, gotta respect the undefeated squads at this point.
Oh, I know the Saints are probably a better team than KC in the long run. But being unbeaten speaks for itself.

How can you have the Ravens below both Pittsburgh and New York when Baltimore beat them both on the road? The Saints lost to the Falcons and you have them No. 2.

The Falcons beat the Saints... but anybody that watched that game know who is STILL the power in the NFC south.

Pittsburg is still playing with out their besrt offensive player and the Saints are playing with out a bunch of starters and damn near everyone is sitting at 3-1. Get real man..
Oh, I think about who is going where right after the Sunday night games are over and don't make a final decision until Tuesday morning. I put a decent deal of thought into the rankings.
I try to be fair when I rank teams. I could have ranked the Bears No. 1 in poll after they beat Green Bay, but I realized Pittsburgh was 3-0 without their best offensive player.
That is why they were No. 1.
One would assume when Big Ben comes back they will be a better team and not have to rely so much on their defense.
The Falcons are better than the Saints in my opinion. In fact, I actually think the Falcons are going to win the South this year. The Falcons should have beaten the Saints on the first possession in OT if Matt Ryan had not overthrown a wide open Roddy White.
The NFC features no standout team right now. So it is safe to say that we won't know who will rise to the top until probably early December.
I still don't understand how Baltimore can be below Pittsburgh and the Jets. That team won on the road against the two best defenses in the NFL.

Saints have not put on their best offensive game yet... due to TURNOVERS... they are playing with out REGGIE, PIERRE THOMAS (your Chicago native), Tracey Porter and Darren Sharper...
Falcons beat New Orleans on a PRAYER... and they didn't beat an 0-4 49ers no better than the Saints beat them....

You talk about the Saints missing cats on defense, but the defense has played tremendously through four games. Sure, the Saints are missing two running backs, but they still got Drew Brees, Colston, Henderson, Moore and Co. The Colts lose two starting WRs and roll against Denver.
The Browns start some cat named Payton Hillis and he rushes for over 100 yards against the Ravens. The Patriots don't even throw the ball to Randy Moss, no running game and beat the snot out of the Dolphins.
Every team has injuries and setbacks throughout the season, but as good as the Saints are, they should still shouldn't be impacted too much without so and so not in the lineup against the Falcons, Niners and Panthers (with a rookie quarterback).
Sure turnovers are not good, but... wait...turnovers? I thought you classified those as takeaways? (Which actually played a huge role in the Saints beating the Niners on Monday Night Football, but that is neither here nor there).
Actually kicking the field goal on first down was the smart thing to do. You don't want to risk a turnover in the Red Zone. Plus, if something happens with the snap, you can always kick it on second down.
I don't have a long pattern against the Saints. I ranked them as the best team in the NFC last year and ranked them No. 1 in the Power Rankings to start the season when a lot of people had the Jets and Green Bay being better than them.

The Ravens barely got by Pittsburgh with no Big Ben. Batch played well but missed a couple of TDs because his arm strength. Big Ben will not miss that. The Ravens are overated anyway.
