I think it was voluntary....and there will probably be a few more coaches getting out early....
I just don't believe Deion is going to coach at Colorado next year...
I don’t think they volunteered to go to a lame duck job at a last place school in the SEC. Loadholt is from Colorado .

MSU got big donation a few weeks back explicitly to turn around the football program. So they have money to throw around to try to get instant success...
Plus who do you know "get demoted to the SEC from another conference"....

In September 2024, Mississippi State University (MSU) received an $8 million donation to its football program from an anonymous family:

  • Amount: The donation is the second-largest in the program's history.
  • Purpose: The gift will help fund the State Excellence Fund, which is intended to provide the Bulldogs football program with the resources it needs to compete at an elite level.

Every SEC school is not created equal.

We have seen coaches leave "good" situations for what looks like a bad one before.

Remember this is Colorado's first year back in the Big 12. So everyone there had little time to research and be ready for them. Next year is a different story.
Also who else player wise is leaving Colorado?

We saw what happened to Sander's predecessor. He lost players and staff. Karl Dorrell got ran out of town. While it is unlikely-history can repeat itself.

However what other job is out there for Sanders? I would stay put because who else is a real threat at being on top in that conference aside from Baylor or BYU? He could dominate that conference and then leave for a bigger check.

It's gonna take alot more than 8 million

Hate to bring Valley into this but it's maddening to see this yet it's common knowledge that our dotard president turned down a multi-million donation (3 mil "allegedly") to athletics from a family of Valley alums because he wanted it to go to academics yet nothing was done about it

If true, it seems that President lack common sense.

Greenwood native and former NFL player Jermaine Whitehead apparently has applied for the job at Valley

Now will the dotard actually pull the trigger is the question

Man, that’s nothing. I thought you were going to say 50 million plus. I wonder if Travis or Shedeur donated it from their NIL.
