Very Lucky.. Lakers have trouble on their hands.. the ref gave them the game again.. but Spurs should have held on to the lead.. Lakers bench won that game..

The Lakers missed a lot of shots at home and Kobe didn't get into a rythym. Add to that that Lamar missed layups all night. The Spurs are in trouble if these guys come out the gate playing and this was a wakeup game..

It was boring arse series with no Markee players. All role guys. Now the Lakers play team ball too and are fun to watch when they are on. You act like the Lakers are playing Suns or Dallas ball or something. We play a half court set game and can run on the transition play..

All role players? Tim Duncan is the best power forward ever. Manu Ginobli came off winning the Gold Medal in the Olympics. Chauncey Billups had just come off winning the NBA Finals MVP the year before. There were two HOF coaches battling each other for 7 games.

I don't think the refs played made that much of a difference in this game. The Spurs only have themselves to blame for not closing out the Lakers. You make your own breaks in games.

It's a cop out to blame the refs when you blow a 20-point lead on the road. I really don't like either team, but that's the way I see it.

The Lakers just outplayed the Spurs the final 18 minutes of the game. The Lakers deserved to win.

I think both teams have adjustments to make. Spurs couldn't run ANYTHING well in the last 16 minutes (partly due to LA's defense), Ginobili and Parker were HORRIBLE, Odom was a no-show, Fisher was cold, etc.... Neither team is really in trouble. LA is supposed to hold serve at home......

The Spurs and Pistons play a form a ball together that is well played but lacks drama. The SEC plays and pack ten play an exciting fast pace game but the big ten plays fundamental slow football. Stop making judgement calls because that was a boring series. And I never said I didn't repsect the players game. I called Duncan out of college when my friends all went with Camby. I like Tayshun Princes game and Rip. UnConn is my favorite East Coast team. But Wallace is on my ish list from his Blazer days, they beat my lakers back when Magic played and Kobe and Shaq. they also gave Scottie them fits too. So I hate the organization not the players,. I hate the Celtics and Spurs too. They are enemies to the Lakers on the Court. I don't hate people at all just the organizations.

I'll say this if Kobe don't do MUCH better they are in trouble.. that just from what I was watching yesterday..We act like we are forgetting 1-3 in the West was a gap at all in ranking... And from watching the game last night "a home game" for the Lakers, that wasn't too convincing to me.. But we will see..

trp96 Kobe didn't take but two shots in the first half. Not cause Bowens was defensing him but he was trying to get the other guys involved. Then add that Odom missed several close layups, Fisher had zero offense and the Lakers are primed for a breakout game. We haven't played since Friday last week so we were rusty. Kind of like the Piston were rusty but we came back and won. Even in Ginobli scores 25 the next game if fisher and odom come to play that cancel's him out. The Lakers simply came out lethargic(sp) and their timing was off. Now they will be ready to go Friday.

I do not understand what kind of drama you are looking for on each possesion. Back in the folks thought the heat and knicks series was dramatic anf those teams played exactly like the Spurs. That is what is wrong with the sports fan of today. They rather have style over substance. They rather have flash than hard-nosed play. They rather have a show than execution. I think the best play in all of sports is a successful hit and run more so than a grand slam or dunk. It is so cool to see the development of plays and the sheer execution come into play. The spurs-pistons series might have been boring to you but not me. You knew that both teams were evenly matched and that every possession was a game with in a game. That is the beauty of sports right there.
