You still didn't answer my question. Name one. ABC is several times larger than TNT, but can you name one NBA game that's been played at night on ABC?
Signed,

Waiting...

Starting with the Conferece Finals, all remaining NBA games will be played at night (PrimeTime) on ABC & ESPN. Tomorrow's Spurs/Hornets game will be TNT's last game of the year.

Last Saturday Cavs-Boston.

Wrong. Try again.....
The NBA doesn't have a game that comes on television at night on a consistent basis.

Dude, you're talking about prime time for dramas and TV shows.
I'm talking about prime time for the NBA. Name ONE game that consistently comes on ABC at night on a weekly basis.

Bottom line is the highest rated 2008 NBA playoff game occurred on Sunday afternoon, not on a Saturday or Monday night.

Those games haven't been played yet.

1.You are right, but they will ALL be in the primetime slots when played
2. You asked me to name one game that has been played at night on ABC and I did with the Cavs-Boston last Saturday night. How are is that to understand?

Ha perdido el juicio usted o usted acaba de jugar mudos?

Refer to first question. I did use the words "on a consistent basis" I do believe.

did anyone 'witness' lebron james lose that game for the cavs? that guy score 45 but failed his team down the stretch. why in the hell would he force a 3 down by one and then drive to the hole down by 3. his basketball IQ is not good.

oh well lebron, you aint no kobe. bet you wish you had larry hughes back

btw lebron

next time you get in a game seven....don't let your man score 41....that aint good. I witnessed that

I know you are not talking. The last time your boy kobe played in a game 7 he failed to show up for the second half against the suns. At least lebron was actually trying to carry his team.

And then you question lebron's iq. I do not understand how folks can be all over lebron for taking a three in the final seconds when he got killed last year for passing ball to a wide open shooter who missed it against the pistons. You can not kill a guy for being generous with the ball and do the same thing when he tries to win the game.

Kendrick, you didnt suppose to bring that back up. Everyone was suppose to forget about that.

There is a MAJOR difference in those two scenarios. Last year LeBron had a wide open layup when he passed it out for a three. This year he FORCED those terrible shots.

The three was ill advised, especially with them being down by only one point. He's only shooting 23% from three point range in the series to begin with, so what were his odds of making that shot, verses going for a layup? Not good management skills in the closing minutes, but still, he played good the first three quarters.

As far as Kobe, first you complained about him not making it out of the FIRST round. He's done that, now you're bringing up a game seven. Well, to Kobe's credit, he didn't let the Utah series go seven games.
Kobe didn't need to show up in game seven because he did something MUCH more spectacular. He closed the opposing Utah team out, and where....on their home court, perhaps the toughest place to win in ALL of basketball.

That's much more difficult to do than winning a game seven on your own home court.

No, no, no, no. Primetime has nothing to do with who is playing, how many people are watching or the importance of the game.

All that matters is the HOUR OF THE DAY that the game is played. That is what makes the game prime time. I don't know how more simple I can put it.

According to wikipedia the definition of prime time is:

The hours traditionally taken as constituting prime time are 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Eastern and Pacific and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Central and Mountain Monday?Sunday.

That's what I said. Just because it is the best game on, or even the game of the week, doesn't make it prime time. I was agreeing with you.

No wonder some of this petty stuff makes 6 and 7 pages.

Six or seven pages can sometimes mean that some have a a long-winded intelligent imagination which may readily be expressed in six or seven pages. Some have a shorter and perhaps less interesting imagination which may call for one or two pages.

Nevertheless, you're right, it's much ado about nothing, just as long as the Lakers win.....daytime or nighttime.

Well at least LeBron did not airball 18 footers like kobe did in the playoffs against the jazz.

It was impressive that the lakers closed out the jazz in utah. However two years in a row lebron and the cavs has won a series against a number one seed and pushed a number one seed to a game 7 with a far less talented team than even the lakers had shortly after shaq left. That is very impressive.

First of all.. the Hawks did the same thing to the Celtics this season.

2 (thanks Kendrick): The Cavs have much more talent that those initial Laker teams had. 4 words: Kwame Brown, Smush Parker.

Damn all this Kobe and LeBron talk

Ben Wallace is horrible...The Celtics only played against 4 players on the court for the entire series. I'm glad Chicago got rid of him and they should have kept PJ Brown.

What happened to Ray Allen in Game 7?

I'm sorry Phreeze but Ray Allen pretty much has been missing the entire playoffs. Teams have figured out that if you put lenght on him and chase him off those three pointers he is ineffective. Add to it that his shot is broke and he is old, the long season is catching up to him. If the Piston and Chauncey play up to their talent level. Boston will have a hard time winning. 7 games with Detroit pulling a possible upset.

I have a feeling that this is going to be a short series. I hate to say it but I got Detriot in 5.

I do recall Magic throwing up an airball as well. What NBA player hasn't shot an airball? Dude, you're REALLY reaching.

And jag4life is right on cue with the talent statement. Funny you didn't mention that and it's funny you didn't mention a weak Eastern Conference and it's funny you didn't mention Lebron getting swept last year and it's funny you didn't mention that Lebron and the Cavs are catching fish right about now, whereas the Lakers are still in the hunt for a championship ring.:smh:

I am so tired of lakers fans bringing up the fact that brown and parker held the lakers back. Wrong.

Folks are so quick to forget the lakers made the playoffs with those two on the floor and built a 3-1 lead against the suns in the playoffs but threw it away. Now, you can not have it both ways.

Like I said earlier, Ben Wallace gives the Cavs nothing on offense and defense.

The cavs were playing really five on three when you consider sideshow bob out there with wallace flopping all over the place. And somone brought up lebron missing larry hughes. Hughes is a selfish ballplayer and even admitted it after being traded to the bulls. He was unhappy that the cavs wanted to play team ball.

The cavs without lebron are nothing. They do not even make the postseason. It took the lakers acquiring one of the best forwards in the nba to advance in the postseason. All lebron got was an aging wallace, smith and wally.

And the cavs nearly upset the best team in the league on their floor.
