I have a question here; does it matter if you lose by one or one-hundred, or somewhere in between?
Exactly! It doesn't. N.O. lost, but so did L.A. Both series are 2 to 2 with all teams maintaining their
home court. So what is the big deal? Nobody has done anything yet, and that is the bottom line.

Carry on....

David West was on last night...but what really stepped things up for them were those big threes from Mo Pete in the third quarter to widen the league. I actually saw the turnaround begin at the end of the second quarter when the Hornets got some turnovers and transition baskets to close within 3 or 4.
Mane, we need to close the Spurs out in San Antonio...but that's gonna be a tough task. However, I think we will pull it off.

Looks like eboK wasn't the only one with back problems. Only difference is...D West carried his team (bad back and all) to a 101-79 win last night.

West lifts Hornets to 3-2 lead

AP - May 13, 10:21 pm EDT 1 of 19 NBA Gallery NEW ORLEANS (AP)?Back pain couldn?t keep David West from taking the court with aggression. The San Antonio Spurs couldn?t stop him from dominating.

?Back in the locker room, right before we break huddle and come out to the game, we said, ?No excuses,?? West recalled. ?Regardless of how I was feeling, I just knew how important this game was for us as a basketball team. I knew I had to play well. I went out there with the intent to play well and things just went my way.?

Did they ever.

Now why you go and make that lil boy cry... He was hoping no one noticed that......

I hope the Hornets would meet the Lakers, but Utah has shown that the Lakers ain't what many claim them to be.

Dude, out of all the teams in the West, the Lakers have been the ONLY team to make every game competitive. Utah's just tough at home, but in the end, the Lakers will pull it out....injury or no injury.

If I thought like that, I WILL win the Powerball tonight. The semis have shown that the predictable is not it. We shall see.

Game 7 coming up between Spurs and Hornets. West is out with an injured back.
Hmmm, I remember a man who just had a back injury, but STAYED IN THE GAME AND FINISHED!!

Be serious, the man was extended for a pass and was given a forearm to the back. :smh: Kobe for life...:smh:

Boy...what was the outcome of that game?? HINT: They didn't win.

Anywho...Robert HOErry b/k/a CHEAP SHOT BOB is a piece of garbage.

Cheap shot and some touchy fouls gave the game to the spurs. I mean 5 fouls within three minutes of the third quater was some BS...

Tim Duncan Flopping...SMH

I thought all of the fouls called against the hornets were legit. Paul pushed off twice and it was the right call on both occassions. Duncan did not flop at all. It was the right call as well. The only call that was questionable was the touch foul west had on a manu as he was trying to clear a screen.

I am so tried of folks blaming the refs for loses when folks know that the home team gets the call. NO got the calls at home and the Spurs got the calls at home. That's why all the home teams are 20-1 in the second round.

kendric those were flops by the spurs on all three. The spurs are known for this. Genobly,Bowens and Duncan are all floppers. That's just it the refs are out of hand now. The way they call games the home team is always on the agressive and the road team has to play passive just to stay in the game. Making we want to stop watching now. I hate the spurs and that mess last night was uncalled for. As soon as the NO was getting back int he game here come some BS 3 point play...I mean some of those weren't even fouls...

I'm so sick of these 30 and 40 point swings from game to game I don't know what to do.

How does a good team blow another team out multiple times, then turn around and get blown out the moment the venue changes??? That's happened in almost every series in the playoffs thus far. I think the Jazz/Lakers series has been the only series with consistently decent final scores.

Personally I think these series are being extended on purpose. More games= more revenue.
