It would be nice......I wouldn't be shocked if they lost though. Series is still over though. Lakers aint playing good enough to win 3 in a row....the Celts would have to have a big meltdown in the series to lose it now.
The Celtics are sore right now.. I believe we will push to close them out tonight...Lakers doing stuff in their rotation to try to overcome the inevitable..
This will more than likely end tonight..
Jared!! I KNOW you just heard them playing In the Stone over the loudspeakers?!?!?!?! :lmao:
damn refs, didnt you see that foul that Kobe gave Paul.
That wasnt no damn steal.
It was most definitely a foul. Classic eboK bullsh!t
That was not a foul. It was a great defensive play at a key moment.
Pierce had to take care of the ball in that situation.
On a sidenote, KG did not play well tonight. He missed several FT in the final minutes that could have gave Boston a lead. Plus, Boston got nothing from the Rondo, House and Cassell. That is why they played from behind the whole night.
That was clearly a foul. Kobe didn't even touch the ball. Oh well....I guess the Celtics can celebrate at home now.
I agreed with just about everything John Barry said and everything Mike Wilbon said after the game. One has to wonder how many chances the Celtics are going to give Kobe Bryant. As the scoring showed tonight, it is Paul Pierce who needs help from his teammates as much as Bryant needs from his. Sure, KG was in foul trouble. But he will need to score more than 13 points for Boston to win the series.
BTW - Paul just admitted during the press conference that it was a good defensive play...not a foul.
Yeah that's the "right" thing to do.
BTW when I was sitting with my father, brother, and nephew we all CLEARLY saw it as a foul. Like I said before Kobe didn't touch the ball.....
So you agree with Barry and Wilbon, the TWO WORST NBA announcers of all-time? You must be a Celtic fan.:smh:

Honestly, I think Boston want to clinch it at home. They know they can do it on Tuesday.
Proof: Look at the players on the court for Boston before halftime....
Whether or not they are the "worst" NBA announcers of all-time, they were correct in basically saying that the Celtics blew it. (Actually, blew it are my words.) Odom and Gasol stepped up their level of play like they needed to do. But with Perkins out of the game, the Celtics needed to step up their level of play.
The Celtics need to play tougher in game six. A team need four games to win the series-not three.
Exactly. I was impressed with Gasol and Odom. KG has been choking......those free thows were crucial.
