Bottomline....if you're a Lakers fan, how could you REALLY be confident of what LA is doing?

Paul "Playwrite" is bound to remember he's back in Inglewood...and, Garnett will play better. So, game 4 will be twice as crucial.

On this day in nba history the chicago bulls beat the los angeles lakers at the great western forum in the 1991 nba finals to win their first championship

Taking pot shot at the Lakers already? Subtlety doesn't seem to be your strength when it comes to taking shots at the Lakers.:smh:

Where are the Bulls now?

Hey, it is important to learn about history.

It is also important to know that the Bulls have a good young team and the number one pick.

Let's see if the Celtics lie again about another injury and that player come out and play his best game of the series.:smh:

So far Odom has 13 points in the first quarter. So far I am right about how he would play in game four.

If the Lakers win tonight, I will like their chance a lot to win the series.

They still will have to win in Boston. Remember when the Knicks only needed one game to win in Houston in 93 and lost game 6 and 7 after being up 3-2.

The Celtics are disappointing in game four.

This is when Doc Rivers has to curse their arses out and call them punk mofos if they don't man up and take this game and series. Phil got his scrubs in right now keeping the lead......so this is on Doc to motivate his team. He has to get tough with these cats. Or pull all them off the court and play his scrubs.

KG has no heart. Nothing more, nothing less......

I disagree. Paul Pierce and Rondo leave their feet too much. All those dangerous skip passes. KG has actually played better than Allen and Pierce tonight. He was the only one hitting for a minute. Doc Rivers coaching is suspect like I thought it would be. He let runs get out of hand. See how Phil called a timeout when Boston went on a 5-0 run. You got to do that. Then Doc put that small lineup on the floor that allowed Gasol to get involved.

This game is far from over, but it helps the Lakers for the Celtics not to have a whopping 23-2 foul shot advantage. Let's not forget about that. Also, the Celtics have not been a good road team all playoffs, so they'll have to suck it up and play through it.

Ariza's playing his azz off. Phil should've been playing a lot more and he should've been playing in Boston.

He sure as hell is playing like GarNOT

When he first was in the league, I remember a commercial Garnett had with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Last season or in 2006 on TNT, Magic talked about Garnett needing to take over games in the fourth quarter. For over a year at least Skip Bayless has bashed Garnett.

I wonder what else did Kareem and KG talk about then. If Kareem gave KG any advice, it is a great time for him to follow it.

I have to go.

Uh Jayrob........the Celtics had the best road record in the league. You don't go 66-16 and not win on the road. Now the playoffs have been a different story. But for you to say they have not been a good road team all year is not accurate. Even if all 16 losses were on the road which they were not......that would still mean they went 25-16 on the road since 41 games are played each way.

Garnett is not that type of player to completely take over a game. He hardly ever scores 30 or more points in a game simply because he's not selfish enough, neither is he aggressive enough. You need both to be a prolific scorer.

I thought I said playoffs. Regular season simply gives you home court advantage, nothing more, nothing less.

EB......he doesn't have a coach that will design everything to go to him. In Minnesota he had no help so he would be beat down by the 4th qtr so he developed all this high post crap because that's what Flip Saunders and McHale thought in their brilliant minds that would preserve his career. Kareem always had an enforcer at PF to help him. And he had great point guard play to get him the ball in the Big O and Magic during his career. KG has never had the coaching or PG play for him to develop a better sense of post play. Duncan had Avery then Parker.........KG has never played with a PG that good for a season.....except once with Cassell in his prime the year they went to the Western Finals.

Doc Rivers can scream and shout and curse and dance, but the Celtics have to play better defense. That's it. Plus, Boston missed a bunch of open shots. A lot of open shot. But the key is the defense. If Boston can be aggressive on defense, they have a slight chance.

I put little to no blame on Garnett for Minnesota not advancing. But in game three I thought that KG should have taken Gasol down low because Gasol can not stop him.

Note. KG is in Boston. Fairly or unfair he will take a lot of heat.

True and good point. Also Garnett plays PF and there have not been many PF in the history of the game that could score 30 and take over. Karl Malone is probably the only one I can think of. Even though Tim plays PF now......he played the Center spot before big Dave retired. But those are the only 2 that even come close to being able to take over a game as a PF.

McHale, Worthy when he played the PF early in his career were not those type of players either.....not that they had to be since they both played with Hall of Fame team mates on the front line and backcourt.
