MS HIGHSCHOOL FOOTBALL 2015

Went last night to watch Natchez vs Warren Central. Had a few lil cousins playing for Natchez. Say GR, why didn't you tell me that Warren Central travel like that? They had over 120 players on their sidelines. They were rotating their players more than Burroughs did with his defense. Of course Natchez got beat, but all in all, it was a good game.

J83, man, they had more players than a college team. And one of their players started playing the cymbal tree or something at halftime. Out there blocking and making sacks, then for halftime hes playing the lil triangle.

Serious ....... not shocked.

WC been rolling 100 plus players since the 1970's when they we in the same conference with Crystal Springs. They would also roll up on about 15 busses for their band.

South Panola Simply just knows how to WIN... It is Genetics..LOL
Those 10th graders you see on the field- it is actually their 5th year in the system. They start training those kids in middle school. But a lot of it is genes....you see the same last names year after year (Conner, Barksdale, Strong, Griffin) so you know this is homegrown talent. Not much recruiting. But N. Panola is starting to build up their program, too. They are starting to convince those Panola County kids outside of Batesville to play there instead of going to S. Panola. N. Panola has a Dandy Dozen RB right now, so you can imagine how good S. Panola would be if he and others hadn't bucked that trend.

Where have you been. They have always been like that. Even back when I was at Callaway. I remember playing them in football and basketball. They have a fan base. I remember when they had Carl Blue running the ball for them and Zip Code Stamps was at Vicksburg during the same era. They used to be more white than black back then. So I assume the black population has increased at the school since.

BTW, you know GR don't like them WC folks. He is a Vicksburg Gator. WC folks aint from the same mean streets of the 'Burg like GR is. LOL.

I have noticed that. NP has some talent here and there but there is not enough across the board. However, they are working to develop that talent.
