I disagree... Bama State was clearly the best team in this conference... This conference is just the worst basketball conference in D1. So Bama State is the best of the worst basically.

Sorry buddy, Coppin State couldn't have been the worst team you ever seen. Coppin State would have run the SWAC in basketball that year and most years. In fact, Coppin State has won as the 15 seed in the tournament before. Much better program than Morehead State.

JSU this, JSU that. JSU got drugg, that's why they ain't there. period.
 
Man, I would leave the chief in Dayton. We need better athletes. Alabama State missed at least 6 lay ups. It was not coaching in this game it was the athletes not doing there jobs.
 
I guarantee our guards would've dominated Morehead State's backcourt as well as our inside game, and I KNOW we would've scored more than 45 points. Plus our players wouldn't have had deer in the headlight syndrome the entire game.
This is a total embarassment of epic proportion. It rivals that of Valley's last year.
Two schools know how to play on the big stage or at least put up a fight, and that's JSU and SU (under Ben Jobe).

While I agree that Bama State was the best team in the conference, I refuse to believe that JSU wouldn't have beaten this team. Bama State played like some busters. Played nowhere near as well as they could have. Now, had this team beaten a Bama State that played well, I could buy the "they woulda beat everybody else" argument.

The MEAC aint much better, but this is garbage. Like I said, this team was 1-3 against MEAC, SWAC and TSU. This was one of the most winnable playin games in recent history. And yes, the MEAC has won play-in games before. FAMU in particular.

Not really sure about that but the bottomline is that they sucked tonight and I can't believe the excuses people are trying to use.... sheesh!

Dude, don't take your anger out on me. Basketball is a game of matchups and skill. Morehead matched up well against Bama State and JSU would've matched up better with lowly Morehead.

I wonder what yall's shooting percentage was for the game. It couldn't have been better than 30 percent. Wow, four seniors and they couldn't get 45 points??!!!!!:shame:

That's better than the 25 they normally get. We should have sent Talladega.

Dude trust my anger is with my team, and I hope Lew Jack is not resting on winning the SWAC and getting his team ready to compete OC next year....this is just the beginning for Alabama State Basketball......
