The boys are out of it - this is not good. Looks worst than the first half against JSU in the championship game.

Double digit lead - no shooting - no rebounding - I am about to put the fork in it - this turkey is done.
 
No offense, but Bama State has no offense. They're shooting less than 30 percent.

From the looks of the teams, JSU would've matched up with Morehead State much better than Bama State.

but it look like they picked up near the end o the half to close to gap...but they have to GO HARRRRRRD in the 2nd half. I dont even think Moorehead Stateis doing that good in pcking it..I honeslty dont think they....canthandle quick penetration fro what I'm seeing..it just that Bama St aint forcing the issue. Draw some fouls..and get some 2nd chances.

They were out coached and out hustled in the first half. Morehead was getting into the lane on offense, so ASU should have switched to a zone. They looked just awful at every phase of the game.
 
3 games back to back. Then they get on the plane go to Dayton and play Tuesday.A half day rest at best Bama State. Their legs are gone. The SWAC need to change the tourney date. I've seen Bama State play...this is not the same quick Hornets that could shoot lights out. You need your legs to have a good shot. The Swac officials know there is a 50 50 chance to get the play in. Why take that chance of wearing down your tournament champion?

In basketball, there's this thing called matchups. Morehead State's guards are slow. JSU's guards would be taking them to the hole much easier than Bama State's. Just something I picked up on. Plus JSU's a better shooting team. A moot point though, just my observation.
 
8 games in 17 days = Alabama State/SWAC

That is almost a game every other day (every two days) over the last two weeks.

5 games in 17 days = Morehead State/OVC

That is almost a game every three days over the last two weeks.

They look very similar to Alabama A & M in 2005, that played a comparable schedule against a team that had a week off, as well.
 
LJ need to go in the locker room and throw some sh**.....lol, we playing like we already playing L'ville......Being tired is not an excuse, thats why we need to step it up OC......we wouldn't be playing in this game......
 
Well whoever wins will get abused in the tourney. Both teams look horrible. They gon start changing rules soon if teams like this keep getting in the tournament vs. teams who play harder like St Mary and others. Mark my words.

But Bama st starting the half strong...they SHOULD be able to win this in the 2nd half.
