A day after she was cleared by a grand jury, it was back to business for U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney as she met with constituents Saturday for her monthly "district day" session in south Dekalb County.

But it was not exactly business as usual.Unlike most district day sessions ? when McKinney will sometimes spend up to eight hours helping people in her district sort out problems ? reporters and TV crews were hovering about.

I don't disagree with her being a loudmouth. But you said she was ineffective without using any facts to back that statement up.

Since you are in the "KNOW".....................Why don't you make it easy for me to understand and lay out just what has she done?

And I don't mean helping people fill out income taxes or giving out "certificates of acheivements" to select people in her district.

He!!, any activest can do what they described her doing in the above article.

In terms of Politics and Government, are u ever happy with anything? Just wondering. Every post seems to be one :kaioken: or :redhot: after another. I know you love to play the role of angry independant, but a true independant is one who eschews party labels and looks for solutions and truth across the aisles. Not someone who's pissed all the time.

You're the one that said McKinney is "screwing" up her district. I'm just wondering how you reached that conclusion considering you're not even in her state.

And for the record, I have no real opinion of Mckinney one way or the other. Yeah she's loud and sometimes embarrassing, but that doesn't make her ineffective - unless u only go by what the media says.

I have not always agreed with the way she does or says things. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think that mh agrees with all of her methods either. But the district can do a lot worse than Cynthia McKinney. After all there is Tom Delay and Randy 'Duke' Cunningham, who is in prision.

If she is tied to Jack Abramoff by doing something illegal, then I would be embarrassed.
