TP,
I'm sure when ASU officials get to Jackson in a couple of weeks and see that big, shiny new Jsu dome rising on your campus, they will come running to yall asking how to do it.

I'm surprised there haven't already been pictures posted already of the Jsu dome. (Or maybe I just missed them....these old eyes aint what they used to be)

We have the best President and administration in the conference. When we say, it's getting done.. trust me, it's getting done. There was always a 3-4 year timeline.

LOL @ MH trying to do damage control. Who would design a modern stadium with one big side and one small side?

I thought Bama State had it going on with the pretty lights reflecting in the night breeze, but it comes to show that everything that shiny ain't gold.

Where's that reporter when you need him? What's his name? I really wanna know why they chose a dilapidated Crampton over Bama State's modern stadium?:noidea:

TP,
Do you think Viv will talk to ASU officials or do you expect her to give them the hand (like you said she give it to you Jsu people)

Everything is coming along as planned.

Like JSU got to be rushed into construction.
We build, we build right. We released plans for our campus, and built. We released plans for our DOME COMPLEX complete with JSU HOF and a New bandhall with a 100 yard practice field for that also on the same land. Bet we will have enough parking spaces when we do build it.

they didn't. 2 different groups. the city was always trying to get a game at crampton bowl. the legends group approached bama state about hosting a game having never spoken to the city. but I think it still works for bama state. mac and sun belt people will see bama state's campus and stadium. they to my understanding have already had conversations with the sunbelt and this will give their people to get a closer look. If i'm bama state future basketball schedules will have on campus games during that bowl week to get them on campus.

What is the status of that bowl game ya'll getting.
You worried about the wrong thang. Our stadium is fine from the parking lot to the top of the bowl. .................. Opps.................:smh:

Umm aren't you in the thread about said bowl game......

How do you build a supposed modern stadium without sufficient parking? How do you make one side of the stadium larger than the other and expect two neutral teams to want to play in it? Who gets the smaller side? Do they flip a coin or something? Who in the heck designed such a stadium?

Louisiana Lafayette's stadium is an older version of hornet stadium and the had the New Orleans bowl there in 2005. It worked out pretty well.

Huh? ......

Spoon feed time.

#1) Why wasn't there enough parking built along with the stadium?
#2) Why did a bowl pick the Crampton bowl over Hornet stadium or what happened to the bowl game for Hornet stadium if they were two separate games and groups?
#3) Why did ole Hornet imply that some people might need to go to jail or be dismissed over the stadium in post #3 of this thread?
#4) Why did ole Hornet imply that revenue coming in from Hornet Stadium would not happen until the issues raised by the past administration was cleared up in question #3 of this post?

All legit questions that I wanted to know about since page 1.
I never bought up JSUs dome untiul I read about ya'll asking about it? I jst answered questions about our stadium that ya'll asked. PLEASE DON'T HAVE ME BANNED LIKE OLE JSTATE83. :noidea:

In other words, you don't know shat.
Thank you................ :wavey:

Anybody that know something want to answer the questions from bama state? If not, I understand. It will all come out eventually like things always do at bama State.

.

yep.
Our last President, MASON, met with the Governor about new construction on a major scale and acquiring the land to do it and our campus increased 4 times in size and quality the last 10 years and is still growing. And now our current President, Myers, is meeting with them again about building ANOTHER 800 bed dorm on the North end of campus. Our current President also met with our leaders about opening new branches of JSU. Guess what. Two has opened since that meeting.

Ain 't worried about the dome complex. Just like everything else, it will be built............We ain't got to rush and leave out parking spaces.
