Michael Vick says Colin Kaepernick needs to cut his hair

I have never said it wasn't. All of it is. Everybody knows what it is. But how many current players do you see speaking out on it? Even the ones that also kneeled, how many of them have taken to the media to call out what this really is? It's sad but it's true. Even the talking heads on TV try to steer clear of the racism part. It's sad on so many damn levels.

The Bennett brothers have spoken out about it.

He did....trust me on that one.

Vick, right or wrong, did what he had to do to get back in the league. He had to conform to play again. That's the prism those comments regarding Kap were filtered through. They might have been misguided with respect to the situation, but he's coming from a perspective of a person who had to show contrition and behave in a manner that would allow him to get a second chance.

In that regard, his comments about image aren't all that surprising. The other stuff about Kap not being blackballed are off putting and should draw more ire.

Nahhhhhhh, vick is just trying to stay in the good graces of the tv people. He wants to stay on tv so he figures if he dogs out Colin they will look favorably on him as a good Curlud who has learned his place.

The thing about my generation is we arent afraid to grow and wear our natural hair. At the school I work at, most of the females have natural hair styles, and a few of us males (who are able to still grow our hair) have a natural style. As long as we continue to teach and mentor these black babies, then thats all the principal and school leaders care about.

Thank God I live in a city like Atlanta where I dont have to conform just to make some whites or old people feel comfortable.
