Michael Vick says Colin Kaepernick needs to cut his hair

He didn't say change just to please white people. It was the writer from BlackSportOnline that made that statement and people don't think for their damn selves. Then followed along. I find it hard to believe that Vick went out of his way to please them folks.

Did Vick say that dude needed to cut his fro off?

Why does Colin needs to do this in order to play?

The hair comment was understable. It was him saying he doesn't believe Kap is blackballed because of his stance is more appalling.

Yall know damn well this has nothing to do with Kaep's hair but the statement he is making politically. No team wants their fans boycotting. I agree with his stance but these are the consequences of going against the grain. All of this athletic talk is pure bullshit. Hair...bullshiit....because if Kaep did not take this political stance and grew out a long as afro all they would say is he is going back with the 60s look.

This leads to my next notion.....my father always told me to never allow personal politics to affect the food on your table. Meaning, we all have to make a decision to makes ends meet that possibly compromise our personal beliefs. If you haven't you must be unemployed.

When a black person give an honest opinion that you don't like it, doesn't always equate to being a sell out. Quit that noise.
That's flat out discrimination if you're asking ONE man to cut his hair. That's no different than when White folks asked Black women to not wear afros or cornrolls in the workplace. Vick should've just kept it private and not made it public.
There are a lot of guys with cornrolls and afros in the NFL. Tell some of them White boys to cut their long hair if you gone tell Kaep to cut his. If Kaep is forced to cut his hair, then that'll be setting a precedent.

I said it before, Black men are being attacked from all angles, including from our own. What's next, nose hairs??? What's crazy to me, is to watch someone who call himself the POTUS travel around the world on taxpayers dollars with wild crazy looking hair all over his head and even touching his ears. His hair definitely doesn't meet military standards and it makes him look totally unstable, which the American public is quickly beginning to realize.

My take is if Vick wanted to truly help Kap this was a personal conversation to be had between the two of them. But with Kap taking the political stance some backlash is to be expected. And this is it. His play has nothing to do with it. He had a decent year passing to nobody.

Vick was just looking at his situation as to what he had to do to get his way back in the league. Now had Vick come out and said "Thats how I played their ass to get my money back" would this be a different conversation? Yea it would but he couldn't say that.

This ish has always been a game and being a young black outspoken millionaire doesn't shit well with white America. And the first chance they can take something from that outspoken millionaire they will. This is nothing new. Hell they do it with poor outspoken blacks. Dealing with these corporate white folks is chess not checkers.

Call it anything you want, but it's still racism.

I have never said it wasn't. All of it is. Everybody knows what it is. But how many current players do you see speaking out on it? Even the ones that also kneeled, how many of them have taken to the media to call out what this really is? It's sad but it's true. Even the talking heads on TV try to steer clear of the racism part. It's sad on so many damn levels.

I hear some of the talking heads calling it racism. Some think that Kaep is less focused on football than his social stance.
They may have their doubts, but Vick's comments caught people by surprise and seems to have made the situation worse.

What Vick said is hard to accept when you got so many others with afros and wild hair in the NFL. Why is he not telling them that? Especially Richard Sherman? If he is talking about image-what about all those tattoos? Guys who sag their pants? Guys with earrings?
Cutting that hair will not suddenly get him a job. Nor is cries of if the NFL had a black owner-he would give Kaep a job. You got black coaches and none of them are after Kaep.

The situation is made worst because you got other players without jobs but no one is coming tho their aid. Where is Black Lies Matter at? Too busy screaming Planet of the Apes is making fun of them? Where are the rallies formed by them for him? He raised money and gave to foundations who hated cops. Where are they at?

He gave up football for them but where are they at? Where they at to say this is a good time to form our own football leagues?

So it was wrong for him to speak out against police brutality? He came to the aid of folks being abused and shot by police, NOT to the aid of a specific organization.
Besides, whether those organizations come to his aid is irrelevant. If they did, it may make matters worse.

If Colin wants to cut his hair that should be his decision. He works (or worked) in an industry that does not police hair styles so why should he be the exception?

Kap didn't give up football.
