That's BS. You and I both know the difference between a "crack house" and a house where someone who abuses drugs live. The inhabitant of this house had a much cleaner record than many of the guys that Frank has allowed to live with him, ride in the city's Mobile Command Center and put on the city's payroll. This is sickening. There's not enough smart people in this city.

Well that just shows you how screwed up the law really is.

Again, if a person is a murderer, rapist, or drug dealer then there shouldn't be a law to support him or her. The law is simple but some screwed up people like to put twists on it to protect monsters.

Majority of the people in that neighborhood stated that it was a well known crack house. If that be the case then they should have burned that mofo down.

well if it was a damm crack house and the guy was there when they yanked him out and tore it apart, then WHY IN HELL DIDN'T THE POLICE ARREST HIM THEN INSTEAD OF LETTING HIM GO.

Sad. They don't realize that the reason they put Frank in office - crime - has gotten much worse during his tenure. We're about 250 officers below the MINIMUM number we should have. There's no plan in place to hire new ones. The city is 4 million in the hole. Almost every department has interim heads. This city is in a truly bad state.

If a house is being used to destroy the lives of people with crack, then its labeled a crack house. Burn it and let the judge and jury do what they gotta do.

I have an uncle who happens to be a crack head and I personally saw him get his azz whipped by the dope man. I also remember what my uncle use to be and what he has become. Why would someone want to make a living destroying the lives of innocent people.......good and bad? Have you ever seen a crack baby in real life?

They just as blind to that as they are to the event's of today.

From the end of Harvey johnsons reign to the Present day FRAK reign, crime shot up 16%.

Now the had an article in the paper about 3 month's ago saying crime had went down 7%.

OK..................16% minus 7% equal's a crime rate that's still 9% higher than when Harvey was in office.

Frank menton ain't done shat and none of his supporters can point to nothing as an example.
Just more whitewashing.................that's all they got.

This man is a disaster for Jacktown.

You can't control the mind of a criminal, but what you can do is spin his world around. I could become a criminal tomorrow if I so chose to. I could go up to anyone and pop a cap in his azz and they wouldn't have seen it coming for miles. The best way to control "crime" is by putting fear in those that like to do it. Yes, this city is in bad shape but its been like that for over a decade.

They should have never let him go. They should have killed that mofo because a couple months later he robbed a man and stabbed him.

Royal Blue, what if a White police or mayor had done what Melton did to that woman's property? I know darn well you wouldn't be making lame excuses for him.

Black people marched and died for crap like this to cease in our neighborhoods. Melton had no intentions at all of doing good for the neighborhood. He was in it for himself. He has NO crime plan after two years in office, NONE.

The police records also show that this same man was FALSELY ACCUSED AND FLATOUT framed by the Jackson Police Department. Where's justice in that?

Royal Blue, when the murder rate and overall crime rate continue to go up, people like you and the Melton supporters, don't complain, just sit back and enjoy it because you all had just as much to do with it as Melton and the actual criminal.:read:

Royal Blue, you know this isn't about crack. FRANK MELTON IS THE BIGGEST DRUG DEALER IN THE JACKSON METROPOLITAN AREA!! HOW BLIND CAN SOME PEOPLE BE? Our young people know more about Melton than some so-called grown people.

We all know crack is bad, but so is invading and demolishing private property. That's why we have LAWS on the books. Several mayors have cleaned up cities by following the LAW, yet this man BREAKS the law and is rewarded for it.

Royal Blue, when "Billy Bob" comes over to your house and breaks and ransacks your home or your relatives' or friend's home, DON'T COMPLAIN!! You need to give him the same respect and loyalty you've given to thug Melton because they're BOTH one and the same. One just has on baggy pants and the other a suit.

If this thug mayor has the right to invade one man's private property without a search warrant, he has the right to invade yours and mine as well. Whose going to stop him then?

Melton's actions are no different than Alabama's notorious Bull Connor or the Klan. Bull Connor hid behind his badge, the Klan hid behind their sheets and Melton is hiding behind his mayor's position and ignorant dumbed-down supporters who seemed to know far less about this thug in a suit than most teenagers.:smh:

I repeat, if a White man did what Melton has done and will continue to do in the future to Black people, you'd be in the streets rioting.

My question is what has Melton done? A lot of people say let him do what he do.......and I always ask what has he done ? No one ever seems to give me a answer.

It's cool they got Harvey out of office now he is helping with all of the developments here at Jackson State an if you don't know how great things are going come to campus. Jackson could have easily be progressing the way JSU is through development but, I guess some people just wanna close down strip clubs.

That's not the problem in Jxn. The problem is that once the criminals are arrested, the DA's office can't prosecute themselves out of a wet paper bag... People will always break the law, but if your DA can't convict them, they hit the streets to commit more crime. Frank went before a jury, the prosecution DID NOT prove it's case. You think the jury is just going to convict because he is the mayor? Sheesh.
 
What's ironic to me are the folks who have been sitting and sitting and sitting in jail and have yet to have a trial.......:whatever:

This is true. In Frank's case, the evidence was very clear. The prosecution was foolish for allowing this case to be a referendum on whether or not it's ok to tear ransack a crackhouse. They should've acknowledged the house had an unsavory reputation but the way Frank went about it was not only illegal but dangerous. The strategy was really screwed up. Then again, this case was probably lost when they picked a mostly un-educated jury.
