I am still wondering did you all blow us out last time? It took home field advantage and some oddball calls to pull that one out.

Jerry Rice might have hurt his knee but not his ACL.

Tell Melvin Williams what's up. He was all-world in 95, got hurt and never was the same kid SU envisioned. And Williams did not have to produce fast because Wofford stepped up. You all forgot about poor Williams.

Melvin Williams was having academic issues. He had some injuries, but he lost out to a better back. Wofford was all world in California. No different than Preist Holmes lost out to Ricky Williams when he got hurt at UT. Melvin played and he did show his old moves against teams when got a chance. I remember a game when Wofford got hurt and Williams ran all over them. I think that was TxSU in Rice stadium. So what your point PF. Rice tore his knee and then broke his knee cap later. His injury was worse than Hayes.

BG Jag, do you Jags have a life besides football? It seems if anything good happens to a football player you all flock over here to ride him. The women's hoop team had more success but I did not see the usual 30+ jocking Jaguars supporting them.
 
FYI: It was a Monday nighter at the Stick (3-Com Park) when Rice got hurt...
Steve Atwater laid a pretty good lick on Rice as Rice caught ANOTHER Touchdown Pass.
However, when Rice came down, his patella (kneecap) broke...

Enough of that...I'm glad that Michael P.S. (Punkin' Secondaries) Hayes is gettin his final year, along with Mack.
It's VERY rare when both your pre-season offensive and defensive players of the year go down with injury in the opening game of the season.
Also, they BOTH were I-AA pre-season All-America too...
I'm just glad that they're both getting their final year.

P.S.: I hope Morris comes back 100% also.

That's just how PF is. He just likes to stir up ish and then move on after some arguing back and forth. Now he says we are not saying anything about SU women's ball. Then when we do, he'll say we didn't say anything about them at the beginning of the season. No matter how many times people on the bosrd prove him wrong. He'll maintain he's right. Makes you wonder. He will have a reponse to this post later. Just watch.

Why are you always worried about SU and Southernites? Worry about your own dayum school and stop counting how many JAGS post on a thread concerning us. We support all of our teams. Everyone knows that football gets people more crunk.

All I did was list ACL injuries and JR finds every reason to doubt my scenarios. I've even listed stuff in their own back door and they refuse to acknowledge it. I witnessed William's downfall, I've seen Greg Burks and Josh Barnes struggle after an ACL injury but SU folks act like it never happened.

PF, PF, all you do is type the negative. Michael Hayes is not Melvin Williams. And Williams played well until he hurt something else.
All I did was show you the positive side of it. Theplayers who had worse injuries and made it back.

You are pathetic. I can't even believe you type some of the junk you do. SU will kick PV's azz is all you need to know. Just because you played us tough for 3 quarters doesn't mean you will win this year. With Hayes or without Hayes, we will be fine.

I bet you hope Hayes get hurt just to tell SU people I told you so. SMH. Just plain sad.
 
I am glad you think your superior than us. You all barely beat us in 2 sports (football and girls hoops) and you think your our daddy or something.

This all I am going to say, you play on turf two times before you'll get to us. Hope you have a full team by the time we whip you all. You know what turf can do to teams not used to it.

SU has dominated your pathetic program over the years. So can the dumb ish. So you beat a down SU bball team and played our injury plagued Football team tough for 3 quarters and still lost to 2nd and third string personnel. Big deal. You know yourself that PV football aint close to SU's level. They played with heart and they tried. But when the pressure was on they folded. And far as playing on Astroturf, how in the hell can you say SU isn't used to it. We play on it at least twice a year. As a matter of fact Pete's record on the turf is unbelievable. Especially in Domes. So that don't wash. You just make sure your 15 scholarship team is ready when SU comes to Houston. Unlike your team we have depth. Thanks to last year, we are even deeper. So wish on for us to be hurt. Maybe that will keep the score from being so bad.

PF, bruh you need to concentrate on PV beating TxSU first before worrying about beating SU. It aint happening. BTW the whole SWAC is PV's daddy. Not just SU. We went to the NCAA Big Dance in 98, when was the last time you been?

I knew this volleyball player who went to SU and I told her before she left don't go because your not going to win jack. Of course, they did not listen to me and PV went on to win NCAA bid in 99 and SU has not beaten them since.

In basketball, you have not done anything worthwhile. All those JUCO's Tommy tried to bring in failed.

Track - if you look at the history (90s), PV has had the most success.

Softball - Texas teams run that sport. SU is a waste of time

Tennis - I personally had a hand in beating SU.

Baseball - we've managed to steal a few from you.

PF again my theory is not shot. SU has dominated your school period. You lucked up and went to the Tourney in 98 and embarrassed the SWAC. I don't blame PV, I blame SU and the rest of the SWAC for allowing your pitiful team to go. I am not going to even waste more time with you on this. We have proved our point.

All those titles but nothing on the national level, that's what I was talking about. You all need to hire Barbera Jacket.

JR, how did we embarrass the SWAC? The conference received more press coverage that year than ever. You all failed in the first round. PV whipped Jackson State, TSU and someone else to rightfully earn that spot.
 
First, where are the moderaters, this is the sports board not the smack page. Band fan can f**k up and good thread with his SU hating bulls**t. He is just contrary for no reason. That should not be part of the sports page, go to the smack page with that.
