LLI ALL Star Marching Band will perform at Rose Bowl Parade


^^^ Yes they were. I was impressed. I flipped from ABC to NBC to see what they did after they formed "2007".
 



They were excellent!!!! Kids doing well. I love it.

One question though...was that Dr. Greggs? If so, I thought he was real ill which was the reason why he could not come to Grambling and accept the award.

Could someone give some insight?

Yes it was Doc. I actually saw him in Baton Rouge over the holidays when I drove down from Jackson. He had the LLI Band practicing at SU with a host of SU Jukebox alums who are now Band directors at the HS level helping out the day before they left for Pasadena.

He actually looked better than he did last year at the BC in Houston. He was hyped and being Doc when I talked to him. So if he was sick, it must have been like a cold or something. Because he seemed to be old Doc I know. One thing about the black man.....he will go to the Dr. if something is wrong with him. He aint too stubborn to do that.

Doc is 935 1/2 yrs. old. There isn't a sickness or ailment that he hasn't been infected with and overcome! Nah, someone else already explained why in an older thread.
