As for James Berry, I would say no. Like you said he is in adminstration here at Redan Middle ( I think or something) and I don't believe he is involved with any band at all. So maybe as a teacher or admin. position but not BD.

Ion know about Nat. She may be happy where she is....SLT, verto ya'll heard from Ronnie (Veronica)? SLT, what about Martha?

As for Blake, he's still interested, if everything is right. At least he was this summer. He would make a big push...I'm sure.

I ain't talked to Huck so I don't know where his head is...:lol:

If changes were to occur, I would look for it to be between MaGruder, Blake, Adams and possibly some other outside person.... Right now if I were handicapping (hypothetically of course IMO) Blake would take the Old School and some new people (Haughton & his experience) Adams would take the Taylorites and early Liddels, and MaGruder would take all the rest of the Liddels and some Old Skoolers as well as the admn. probably since his ties to Liddell. Depending on who the outsiders were, they may get some consideration.

Derrick Anthony Chambers is Baby Woo. He was Huckleberry's (Berry Greer) LB. And Wardell's lil (not by much) bro.

I know the difference but there has to be a balance between musicality and power. We still don't have the perfect mix but I didn't like what he brought to the table. We did get louder but that is not what I am talking about. The only thing to me that he brought to the band was good arrangement for ballads. It was certainly a far cry from the balance we had in the late 80's and early 90's. I actually prefer what we have now compared to what we had in the late 90's. I don't know the proper terms but the ballads were good but had nothing behind them. All I know is that I am glad that he left.

JSU is still playing alot of his arrangements. He's a 10x's better arranger than Magruder.

:lmao: Man you are so funny. ell thats what alot of people were saying about SU for a long time, they were LOUD not good but oh noooo you wanted to argue them down lol. I just sit back and read threads and everytime I walk into someones thread you are always there to down someone elses program.:slap: To YOU some programs are always copying SU or always stealing from SU or will never compare to SU. That is truly YOUR OPINION and just that. Yes there is a difference in JSU's program and from what I have been hearing each year, there is a difference with EVERYONES program in the swac. They are not like they use to be. People really dont care how you look at it but yes SU program has changed also. Maybe its changed to your liking and maybe to others it hasnt. ell maybe JSU program has changed to some of their fans likings and maybe it hasnt. You my friend cant seem to find too many positive things to say about that program which is really funny. I dont care if the worlds best director takes over these programs you seem as though you will always have something to say about someone elses program besides your own. If some of these directors are not doing a good job why dont you take your arse into the institution and apply for one of the jobs and turn the program around instead of downing it. Its one things to have pride for your institution and its another to sound like a total arse. By the way this is not a debate with you at all this is just a critical observation.
PS. SU did have some ups and downs this year no matter how you look at it. In your opinion though (as always) they didnt.

This has to be to most balanced I have heard SU in years.

Boy get a life. Your whole life is JSU. You JUST now finally got some balance in SU's band. LOUD has what you've ALWAYS been about which is nothing new. I have PLENTY of tape where SU's sound is LOUD and out of tune. FINALLY you sound good. You stick to SU and we'll stick to JSU...band nerd.

SU been busting JSU arse, which is why you all changed your still... And we ain't been balanced.. You lost your mind lil boy.. SU still has the SAME instrumentation ratio, same arrangers same style nothing change.... You just getting older and starting to admit SU is busting yall arse.. Guess what............NOBODY CARES but you. We have all graduated and you STILL braggin' about a COLLEGE band. We're all grown. The same stuff is said day in and day out. It's OLD and TIRED. That's why I said get a life.......neither one of those bands affects my personal life or professional life but you come out with all these musical stats and same stuff EVERY DAY as if you're on SU's payroll. Band nerd.
