Latest stunt shows LaVar Ball isn't raising sons, he's exploiting them

Other parents try to provide their children with safety nets, Not LaVar Ball, though. Nope, he takes his kids' away.

Ball announced Monday that he is pulling his middle son, LiAngelo, out of UCLA, throwing away his free education at one of the country’s best universities. Why? Because the school has had the audacity to suspend LiAngelo and two teammates for shoplifting while the Bruins were in China. A crime all three admitted to, mind you.

LiAngelo won’t transfer to another school, his father said, but will instead spend the next seven months getting ready for the NBA draft. Even though LiAngelo’s chances of being drafted are only slightly better than LaVar's of being invited to the White House.

Talk about entitlement. This fool went to China and shoplifted, got off with a slap on the hand, and now they're not happy. Terrible example he's showing his son and he ain't even good.

If he would have said, "My son admitted to shoplifting and I agree with the suspension because it holds him accountable"....there would not have been any uproar.

It sure wouldn't have. But he is acting like "how dare anyone question what his son has done"

With just Lonzo this family may be one and done with the pro players. Sad it could have been so much more.

If he would have just set back and allowed time to do it's thing.....life would have been good. Now no one wants to deal with him.

LiAngelo Ball on China shoplifting: 'We left thinking we’ll just get away'

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/liange...ng-left-thinking-well-get-away-152749579.html

LiAngelo Ball has spoken out for the first time on his arrest and detainment in China for shoplifting, and the picture he paints is one of a teenager who got swept up by others’ misdeeds and ended up in over his head in a hurry.

“We all went out one night, went to the malls, went to the Louis Vuitton store,” he told “The Today Show” on Tuesday morning. “People started taking stuff. Me just not thinking and being with them, I started taking stuff too.”

It wasn’t until later that Ball realized he’d made a serious error in judgment: “We left thinking we’ll just get away. You know how kids think,” he said. “I didn’t realize till I got back to the hotel—‘that was stupid.’”

Ball and two teammates were arrested by Chinese authorities and spent a day and a half in a Chinese prison—a “horrible” experience, Ball said, in a cement cell where no one around him spoke English.

So his son goes and steals but wants to blame it on other kids saying he just decided to join in....SMH...your brother plays pro ball and you could have asked him for a couple thousand to buy the shades..

The kicker is ... they were stealing shit they could've gotten in the states. Louis V? They could've gotten that at Rodeo Drive or a number of places in LA ... especially with Lonzo playing for the home team.

He's already pulled the third son from HS and is going to home school him. He's not playing HS BBALL his senior year.

Even when home schooling there is a "senior year". Because paperwork has to be submitted to the state saying that said child has completed there schooling. And once this said child here finishes his learnings, he may have to go overseas cause no college will touch him.
