you dont watch basketball.... I can name 2 schools this year that would have won state in EASILY in Mississippi.... Wenonah-Birmingham and Carver Montgomery (and Carver didnt even win state).... btw... Alabama kicked Mississippi ass AGAIN this year in Montgomery last week.

not sure... Alabama won in 2012... so there was no 3 year streak... Alabama has won the past two years... Mississippi won the 2 years before that... and Alabama won the 2 years before that.... so your logic is flawed.. Alabama has won 4 out of the last 6.
whats the overall boys, girls and football standing between Alabama and Mississippi?

My bad.
That was the girls I was looking at. They had both stories mixed together.

To be honest, I didn't even know the game was played last week. The State championships just wrapped up the weekend of the March 9th. Throwing 12 players together in a weeks time don't really say much in this state and that is if they get all the best players to play. Some play in this Mississippi/Alabama game, some play in the NORTH/SOUTH Mississippi all-star game. They don't do both. Some choose not to play in either game.

Alabamas State Championships was played at the end of Febuary. Way more time for top players to either commit and practice or get off the pot.

all players report and practice on the same days lol.... and the teams were picked way before the state finals of either state.

btw this was a pic from the Alabama State championships... one of the largest in the country...6a championship game had over 16k

What does fan support have to do with overall talent in a state. That just a lot of family members coming to support their kids..Stop Dahill. Bama better than the Sip and move on..

Great Crowd................Still though.
Players from Alabama know they will have time to commit to this game.

Players from Mississippi are just starting the playoff grind while ya'll state championships are already settled. Mississippi players already know this and if you know your team has a good chance of going to state, most of those top players are n ot interested in commiting to that game.

They have a hard enough time getting players to play in the North/South game.

I stated that JACKSON just has most of the talent and a team from Jackson WHOEVER is coaching it will more than likely win state in their division each year.... there are only 30 schools in 6a and 5a in Mississippi... its not hard at all

So what about lil ole Amanda Elzy about 15 miles from Valley winning back-to-back state titles. Jackson ain't the only place that talent is located in Mississippi.

Amanda Elzy can run and beat any Jackson school or ANY school on any given day. "World Class" Glass got that team playing some serious ball. :tup:

I done told you MH about this. You are from GA. You just went to Alabama State. You rep your state of GA not Bama. So stay out of it. LOL. Just like I rep MS even though I am a SU alum. I love the Boot. But my HS sports allegiance and state pride is with my home state.
