LOL. JSU has to defend everything, huh?

He took over a program that came off probation, probably due to some Johnnie Cole foolishness... His first year, he went 0-11 and his teams got better every year.

Just to let ya'll know, Comegy was 0-22 at Cheyney so again, sometimes, it's the school; not the coach. Many of you rave about Karl Morgan but his record is horrid...even worse than Totten's.

But he won a NAIA championship with the Marauders at CSU.

THAT is a very bad example. CSU ran Black Colleger Football from the mid 80s to mid 90s. My point about Cheyney is that no one can win there. That was not the case at Central State back then. They were some serious azz-kickers under Billy Joe and later Rick Comegy!

Burroughs is a good man and coach. He should contribute to JSU recruiting efforts in the Mobile area.

All that's left is a decent offensive coordinator who is creative on offense and knows how to make in-game adjustments. Burroughs seems to be a quality coach.
