J-State leads all of FCS; SWAC & MEAC leads FCS conferences

Two things I never question is 1) Jsu football attendance because most of the time it's on point regardless of what year it is 2) sTu attendance because it is always shameful, an embarrassment, and full of an orange stadium like excuses.....LOL

Well at least we have less empty seats doing basketball season than ya'll do. We tied .. ya'll got football we got basketball.

Dude and that aint even the largest crowd in meac swac challenge history of crowds, go look up who had the largest. Also, until j st can brake records at opposing other stadiums aside from there's, don't ever say they have surpassed us because they haven't. Yea, do me a favor, go look up all 9 Swac schools and outside of Swac schools attendance records, guess what the common denominator was? You guess the played Southern.

I never said it was the largest crowd, I said it was a sell-out and the atmosphere was on point. Nobody is trying to take anything away from SU, I agree ya'll have a great fanbase ... but just not better than JSU in my opinion.

So, are you saying that except for a few BCU fans, all others were JSU? Did any residents from the Atl, not affiliated with either school, attend? First of all, only 23,000 fans showed up for the game anyway! You talk about atmosphere, who creates atmosphere better than SU?

You talking about stuff nobody knows, all I know is JSU packed the house in ATL and sold more tickets than BCU. I live in ATL and I seen JSU people and 'nalia everywhere that whole weekend.

Not better than j st? Boy, like i said LeBron not better than Mike. J ST got a long way to go. They are a home room crowd not a traveling crowd.

As I read this thread gone to hell in a hand basket..., this reminds me of the saying,

Folks could have more than you and still hate on you...

And SU folks ...., Alcorn and JSU debateably might have something to say about game day atmosphere win, lose, or draw.

Dude shut up because I see you.....LOL sTu is the Jezebel of SWAC football and football attendance. You dummies are like a doorknob (everyone gets their turn). Your football team gets drilled so much until one would need a DNA test to find out who in the SWAC is your "Daddy." No one wants to see sTu open up like a gas tank and say stick that pump in and "fill it up." Thus the abysmal and smelly attendance numbers. Misery loves company and I know you're lonely down there. I'm surprised more people aren't calling you out on this funky instigating thread....LOL (Geaux sitcho rancid azz down somewhere)......LOL

Your negtive comments about the Jaguar Nation were uncalled for. If you want to congratulate JSU, then do so! But leave the Jaguar Nation alone! If you must find a school to pick on, I would suggest TSU! They seem like a good candidate, being that they are located in a metro area with more than 7 million, but can't attract an average of 10,000 for football games. But then again, why would 10,000 want to come and watch a football team that went 0 & 11 for the season. Yeah, TSU would have been a much better school to pick on! By the way, congratulations to JSU!

Look, no one is going to beat out Jackson State any time soon! In a city of 170,000 residents (84% Black), JSU is literally the only game in town. Their mayor, with the African-sounding name, said as much in a recent interview. Aside from serving as the capital of the state, there is nothing significant happening in Jackson other than Jackson State football. Add to that the fact that JSU admits to its games all school-aged kids for free in that 60,000-seat stadium, and you have a recipe for an attendance-leading football program on a national scale. I am not complaining, though! I think it is genius of them to admit school-aged kids for free. With a big stadium that largely sits half empty, why not allow these free attendees? Without free admission, these kids would be sitting at home at game time, and the stadium seats they occupy would be sitting there empty. Its a win-win situation for all concerned. The kids get in for free and Jackson State sees its numbers rise both in attendance and in concession food sales. Now next year JSU's numbers will go down! Gone from its upcoming schedule are Southern, Grambling and Alcorn State, three of their most well-attended games, and because they do enjoy a nice road following, SU, GSU, and AlSU should see their numbes rise.
I think you SU people can sometimes get disillusion. If SU was who they claim to be when it comes to true fan support then what does JSU location has to do with SU lackluster of attendance. If you have fans like you claim then yall could be located right there at Delta Station and have overwhelming support. Based off last census BR has 125,198 African Americans out of 229,553 . Jackson has 137,772 Africans Americans out of 173,517. So as you can see the difference is very small. Secondly, BR is located 1 hour and 14 minutes away from New Orleans another MAJOR CITY which where fans could come from in support of SU games. Now if your program just doesn't have what it takes to bring fans and alums from just 1 hour away then that's a story for another day. lol. New Orleans has 60.2 percent African Americans of 393,293. Furthermore, we all know black folks are not going to participate or support anything they have no interest in no matter how much or little there is to do within that particular area..Texas Southern is a prime example. There are enough African Americans in Houston to show TXSU some love at the games if they wanted to. So stop acting as if JSU fans are forced to come to the games. One could say the same for SU.. Baton Rouge is definitely no tourist destination themselves. If SU so call fans would stay there a*** away from LSU games then maybe SU could see the benefits of there own fans. Just as other schools, not all JSU fans even live in Jackson. I myself live in Memphis and only missed one in 2019 and that was the JSU vs SU game.

@Earle also, the ONLY game we let in 18 and under free was high school day. Every other game was paid attendance. FYI for those of you that were ignorant to that fact.

But continue.......
YEP, they;re thinking about basketball season. But thats what happen when all on your mind is to degrade instead of congratulate. smh.

I know 16,957 not bumping their gums about what somebody else is doing as an excuse for their Underwhelming average.

Every year SU cry about this. Excuses every year.
My dad and I talk about this every year almost. They usually have a winning record and claim this so call fantastic band but averages are typically low compared to the amount of s*** as they talk. LMAO
