Is Spears still at GSU?

The team ain't playing well, but they are competing. We'll keep it together and finish strong. There's enuff youth on this team to keep the hunger going. The veterans who have been contributing will continue to contribute. That's how we do it at Grambling.

We've been a turnover or breakdown away in the last games...no excuse cuz we're the ICON! It's gonna turn around in the next game...the next game...the next game...and the last game.

No offense, but that's the same thing JSU folks were saying 3 years ago. Your problem is a combination of your offensive philosophy and your O-line coach.

Pass-happy attack + Carl Roberts = Abnormally high rate of Sacks and Turnovers

The trouble you had protecting Landers reminds me of the trouble we had protecting Kent. Don't get that kid killed like we got Kent killed in '01. I'll never forget the punishment Kent took against A&M that year-- all for ignorance's sake. (I truly believe he was never quite the same from point onward. He gradually became skiddish in the pocket, and the trademark picks began to mount.)

This is no smack; just a word of caution.

Point well taken... Although I don't agree with the offensive philosophy, the problem more is with the conditioning of the offensive linemen and just bad teaching of technique for the players.

However, I expect some changes will be made.

I believer you and hbcu or both right. It is a combination of all of those things.
