Probably. Another thing I find is that some people take offense if OTHERS acknowledge "all" of their heritage. For example someone who identifies with black-----------PRIME example is Tiger Woods. :lol:

MANY black folks were livid because, AS A KID, he wanted to include his Caucasian, Black and Asian heritage.

I thought I read where he gave his mixed heritage a name. A combination of all 3. But it used to be if you had 1 drop of Black blood, you were considered Black.

The man looks like he could be mixed. My daughter is Black and Mexican...and I call it Blexican. Since she primarily resides with her mother, she is closer to the Mexican culture. Now if you look at her, for the most part, she looks black and she will visually be identified as such. She will know both cultures.

My 1/2 sister is Mexican and Black. My Daddy is black and her Mother is pure Mexican. She looks Mexican with curlier hair than most.

I respect all person's heritage and I do not have an inate NEED to MAKE them black.

I remember a Sportscaster making a comment about him after he beat a white player in the masters. I believe it was " will he be having watermelon and fried chicken for dinner"?

I just know how I look, and the culture in which I was raised.
