Nah, they are going to be okay. Comegy has too much at stake to go into the season half stepping. I expect them to be right in the mix of things.

The most encouraging thing about last year is that we played so many young guys when others got hurt or due to a lack of depth coming out of fall camp. The young guys played well and in some cases better than those they were stepping in for. The future looks bright for the next 2-3 years in Jackson.
 
Cox was asked about doss and doss tweeted him, cox said " he was never a factor" now watch someone from su try to one up...again lol
 
I believe he will do what it takes to make sure that hot seat don't burn....but this is the 1st year in a while that seems like most swac teams will be competitive from preseason looks....dont look like a easy ride

I just heard of this Cox dude this week by you...no shade...

I'm not sure who this Cox dude is...but he didn't show up in the SU vs JSU game last year...I do believe Doss and Berry had big games in that game if I'm not mistaken

I don't see how you can say that? I don't see too many teams that look good for 2013. Will SU, Alcorn, GSU, TxSo and PV be better? Possibly but probably not by much. The talent is just not there but those teams should benefit from experience. AAMU and Valley should take a step back. Right now , this season is about whether JSU or Alabama State will play PB in Houston!

LOL @ Fiyah. Yeah I had to think about what I said there for a moment. Orlando will drive you crazy as an OC

I sincerely believe he hampered JC's career at SU. Heck he had Thomas Ricks in the doghouse while he was OC. Poor kid was on defense, holding kicks and even got left home for a game until Oliver took over and put him back at QB to back up Quincy.

Dude, SU had ONE sustained drive in Jackson.. ONE.... LOL

They got their points off of kickoff return, easy score after a blocked punt, and missed tackle for a long run. We ain't about to base NOTHING in Jackson off a performance of a sorry SU team.

Cox is the Preseason defensive player of the year so if you don't know about Cox, you don't belong in SWAC discussions because you obviously don't know SWAC players.

TP, honestly, how do know there is not talent on folks teams when you are way up in Philly and not privy to what is going on with any team. I mean can you tell folks who is showing up in camp at these schools? Do you not think any kids will have break out years and improvement from their Freshman or Soph years at these schools? You can't say no one has enough talent to win in the SWAC.
 
Lol dude you do know Doss never had less than three catches in a single game.

It's like Gary Payton saying....he only scored 4 pts on me...but Jordan put up 45 Lmao...smh..

Like I said..I just heard of this dude Cox...dude trying to build his name lol
