IF GRAMBLING PLAYED RICHMOND or MONTANA?

JSU and Alcorn gave up playing on Thanksgiving day because of the playoffs.
You just said in your post that Gram and SU basically say's FUGG tha rest of you cause the playoff's don't mean shat to ya'll, and ya'll don't GAF if it screw's the rest of the team's in the conference that might want to take a shot at the playoff's.

are you mad at "Gram and SU" for "screwing" the rest of the teams" or are you mad at the rest of the teams for being screwed?

btw, I see it as Gram and SU doing whats best for them.

In other words, you, (AND NOBODY ELSE FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH), can answer a single, basic, str8 forward question about the SWAC's so-called business model.
And that is sad considering you here praising this crap like it is so good for us as a conference.

Even got a little smack in to try and divert.
And considering GRAM got it's arse kicked 3 times in the playoff's by Boise('80), Arkanasa St(85), and then SFA(89), then ran like byotches to the B.C. excuse, I would talk about "saving one's self".

We never ran.
We made it easier for them to find us by making ourselves playoff eligiable unlike ya'll.

It is mine to extend...it is yours to accept it or reject it. I have answered every question you posted.

For the record, Gram (never) got its ass kicked in the playoffs. We lost, but we didn't get our asses kicked.

Now J-State...J-State got its ass kicked. Don't let me post scores. I know its a hard pill to swallow, but don't let the facts cloud your judgment.

Wait??? Gram ran???

A loss is a loss but those games you mentioned were tight. That SFA game was one of the best games that I've ever watched.

P. S. FRED JONES CAUGHT THAT PASS IN THE END ZONE....

Playa,

A loss is a loss...but in each of those instances, Grambling lost by less than a td on a late controversial call. In the case of SFA, it was a game full of calls that were one-sided at best. SFA later had to forfeit it's wins due to an ineligible player...they made it to the championship game. Boise State won the national championship, and I believe Ark State was at least a semi-finalist (if not runnerup).

Again, a loss is a loss...but they were not asswhuppings that we ran from. In fact, each of those games were possible due to rotation of the BC's playing date at that time.

I have already mentioned the one loss to NWST this year at Grambling...what other PWC's did he play while at NCCU? Was it in his first year, 2nd, when? What was the record of the team he played? Score?

The facts will speak for themselves.

He also lost to ULM, Nevada, and Pittsburgh since at Grambling. He lost to Delta State and North Alabama at NCCU, with both times coming in the first rounds of the DII playoff.

Delta State record was 12-3 with them losing to Grand Valley State in the 2006 DII playoff.

North Alabama record was 11-3 with them losing to Northwest Missouri State in the 2005 DII playoff.

In both cases, Broadway had a better record than each team he played.

Shat.
Not mad at either..................Bamma State included.
Just time for people to tell the truth and stop all the "looking at Massa" or "Grass is greener" bullshat just because someone just might look outside the SWAC/HBCU world for other oppertunities.

Just get sick of all these excuses and people that defend the SWAC decision's as something other than "backslapping".
Gram/SU doing what's best for THEM.
I been saying that all along when everybody else was kicking that "it's for the SWAC" bullshat.
Just like the Turkey Day Classic with Bamma State and Skeege.

All I'm saying is call it what it is for real.

While ya'll doing what's best for ya'll, the rest of the conference has to sit back and be "left out".

Name 1 other sport's conference in America, (FBS, FCS, D2, D3, NAIA, ETC.), that would let this kind of mess happen. :retard:

Yeah we will schedule them but will we try to win. Pete said long ago he was not paid to beat those teams.

Brodway said it at the beginning of the season. He wanted to play HBCU's and win.

Our coaches will lose these games and prepare for the SWAC only. If we win so be it if we lose, oh well we can still win the SWAC and our fans will be happy. At least the ones who pay the bill will be..

In Pete's entire 15-16 years, I have never seen a time when he did not compete (I do have my questions though about that U of H game). However, Pete is probably somewhere around .500 against out of conference foes.....

And with the end result being able to only compete for a CONFERENCE TITLE, what's the point?
All you have to be is good enough to beat other SWAC school's in your division.

School's like Montana schedule top FCS teams because their end goal is a good seed in the playoff's going for a National Title.

Again.
School's in this conference has no incentive to schedule school's like Montana or any school like them.

Your are looking at the scenario from jaded lens. We have different goals than others in the FCS. However, we are in a position where we can improve and even exceed their power ratings by playing them and winning. When we achieve the aforemetioned goals, their championship will always have an asterick by it.

Just say you don't know any of the answer's about this so-called "business model" the SWAC and just want to smack.

Post scores.
Hell.
I'll post them myself.
Ain't no shame.

We got beat bad in a few, MONTANNA, and let some get away, (Arkansas State 33-31 on a last play fumbleruskie on the goal line).
Played against 7 eventual National Champs and nobody we played finished outside of the semi-final's except Western Illionis.

And you proving my point about how clownish this conference is.
Post the scores if that will get you the diversion you need after you could not give me an answer to any of the simple questions I asked after you posted that I OVERLOOKED THE FACT'S ABOUT THE SWAC'S BUSINESS. :shame:

Dude, the only thing different about GSU, SU, ASU (and now TSU and UAPB) is one week later. JSU and Alcorn can do the same with no problem. No need to cry about it.

Didn't Matthews come in last year for B. Lee and go lights out?

Yes........He sure didn't look that well this year though. Grambling defense had something to do with it. That is why I made the statement you never know (even if Lee is in and that is why the game is played).

Just say you don't know any of the answer's about this so-called "business model" the SWAC and just want to smack.

Playa,

Do you even know what the purpose of a athletic conference is? Cause if you did, you'd have the answer to your "business model" question. Because it is clear that my answers are not good enough.

post 'em SOGGY
:D

What year do you want?
We all know ya'll never had the gut's to try?

See.
This is why these convo's go nowhere people.
People ask for answer's and when the very people that are defending the decision's made in this conference get a str8 answer put to them, DIVERSION.

You want me to post them MH?
It will save time and allow ya'll to move on to the next diversion when a question is asked and ya'll can't answer. :shame:

I see.

Playa,

It damm sure was not set up for half of the conference to do one thing while the other half have to just grin and bare it.
And you have not answered a single question on my list so get off that "my answer's" crap.:retard:

And BTW:
GREAT ANSWERS to my questions
.:smh:

No smack...but considering how JSU stunk it up in the playoffs all those years. The SWAC probably needed to save you from yourselves. But to answer your question (from a business point of view) JSU was not making any money from the playoffs.

Not sure what the breakdown is, but there is revenue sharing from the SCG. Even the teams that don't participate in the game gets a cut.

Don't know (yet), but is more than the other 8 will get.

Probably more than any other school (in our subdivision) in the country. And more than some of these bowl games.

Not a gott dayum thang!

I already addressed this question,

That is a regular season game (like the BC) and thus the SWAC school get nothing. And should get nothing. Why would you care?

That is a question you would have to ask your own players.

Tell me how is this "business model" we following so good for us while people continue to byotch and moan about the same shat every year while it has been in place.
Tell me what is in it for Jackson State University?

Put answer here ___________________________.

:noidea::noidea::noidea:

Yep.......................Great answer's.
How could I have not seen those great answer's.

"Don't know", "Probably", "Not a damm thang".
Agan.
Great answer's from a person defending this crap so hard. :lmao:

I will take that first line as a "no". As to the later. I answered the questions, but it is clear that the answers are not good enough. So with that said...I will come to this conclusion.

Because you don't know what the purpose of the SWAC (or any athletic conference for that matter is) it would be impossible for you to appreciate any of the answers that were given to your questions...which were answered.

Bid's go out on that SUNDAY..................THE WEEK BEFORE.:retard:

Ain't crying.
Just sick of negro's trying to make this out to be the best thing for ALL school's.

Heck.
I hope JSU/Alcorn do move it back to Thanksgiving Day.
We need to say FUGG the SWAC like the rest of ya'll.

Anytime Jackson State would like to schedule McNeese, GA. Southern, Richmond, Central Arkansas, Wofford all they would need to do is pick up the phone and make something happen. If you beat their butts during the regular season, you know where you stand. If not get better and schedule them during the regular season again.

Dude .................... Just stop.:retard:
You have not said a damm thing yet you in here acting like you so INFORMED on everything and declared yourself the winner.

Now your diverting butt has gone to the "I don't know what a conference is" crap.
The purpose of a conference is not to have 100 different rules for 10 different school's.
A conference is supposed to have 1 goal for ALL it's members in a particular sport.
It is obvious that a National Championship is not one of those goal's for the SWAC.
It is obvious that certain people from certain school's could care lewss than a damm about anything other than the reflection in the mirror.

We just a conference of renegades who do whatever the hell they want.

The purpose of the SWAC or any conference is to make money. Bottom Line. The SWAC makes money. We have the highest attendance in FCS when you add in classics. We make money to stay a float because we don't have the booster support. Several FCS schools are worse off than us but they will mop the field with us on any given saturday do to washed up single minded coaches who don't teach fundamentals and play sound football.

Hey Stagg if Gram and SU gave up the BC there other athlectic programs would suffer greatly. So let them and Alabama State have their games.

No need to argue about it. All the what if and stuff are irelevant, when the coaches of these teams don't care about winning outside the conference.

Lets just wait until the next season we get thrashed by our OOC opponents and these threads start all over again.

I love beating up on old rilvaries but I would sure like to see us all compete agaisnt OOC.

Gram is in here talking like they are world beaters and can match up with the top FCS teams. All those top teams ran through the lower seed if not this year most years they run through the lower seeds. Gram struggled with Langston and now they will stay on the field with Richmond and Montana.

LOL it's funny.

As long as most schools are happy making pennies then why be mad.
We will continue to make just as much money if not more with only one true classic and let them cry each year and speculate about how great they are for winning the SWAc.

Oh good GOD.
Could ya'll please stop this "Gram/SU give up the BC".

We have had 100 threads like this and not one person has ever said give up the Bayou Classic or Bamma St/Skeege game.
I'll lay done money that you can't find a post that say's give up the BC anywhere that was serious if it was even posted. :(

People just said MOVE THEM UP A WEEK OR 2.
Mofo's act like the world will end just for a suggestion. :shame:
