I want the scripture

Lovemaking is mostly mental...the hard part is maintaining that interest.

WRONG AGAIN!

If Love is what you're truly making, it is way more that mental

True, that's why the bible say "Wives love your husband"

After a few years, the relationship can slowly fade away..

Sexual intimacy between any two people is a spiritual event. God designed it that way. The scriptures depict the reunion of Jesus and the Church in heaven that way. It is the very reason that fornication, adultery, and wonton divorce are such an abomination to God. Sexual intimacy in the human experience was intended for husband and wife because it mimics what happens between us and God. So, as much as He abhors when we abuse His design, He blesses when we realize its purpose. He has ordered things that way.

There is another thread open about swinging ? and there we go right back to the church at Corinth again. There is still nothing new under the sun.

Good stuff and true talk that is. I don't know the last time, if ever, I thought of intimacy as a spiritual event. Act of procreation, yes; Physical encounter, yes; Out of body experience, possibly; Spiritual act; :goodbad:

Just the same, thanks for sharing your thoughts and knowledge.

Dude wrong in your OPINION. Dude quit thinking you're right on every subject that deals with affection, love is individualistic among 2 people and God. The mental part of love consist of the spiritual part.

Yes my opinion. Because the spiritual part rules all of it. If you do not have the spiritual aspect of Christ in your love life, you miss it all. But that's my opinion.

Thanks for reading. I hope that it helps to open a crack in our perspectives. God has so much to pour into us if we can just stay open to Him.

Lovemaking can be a healing process
On point. That is first and foremost. However, most recently my wife was diagnosed with a heart arythma (sp?). We began to pray about it in the course of lovemaking. She physically felt a change, went to the MD the next day and has not had a recurrence of even a single abnormality.

GOD IS GOOD.

That is fact and truth. That is what God has gifted me to proclaim to the body: WE ARE THE ONLY LIMITING FACTOR, SO TAKE THE LIMITS OFF GOD.

where it says married couples who are followers of Christ and have proclaimed God as their lord and savior should not have procreate in church.

I am not being ignorant or stubid. This is an honest to God question.

That means you aren't talking to me. If it's a "to God question", ask God and wait for God to answer you.

He already has nearly 2000 years ago. We just repeated and reflected on what He already said.
