dacontinent said:Sexual intimacy between any two people is a spiritual event. God designed it that way. The scriptures depict the reunion of Jesus and the Church in heaven that way. It is the very reason that fornication, adultery, and wonton divorce are such an abomination to God. Sexual intimacy in the human experience was intended for husband and wife because it mimics what happens between us and God. So, as much as He abhors when we abuse His design, He blesses when we realize its purpose. He has ordered things that way.
There is another thread open about swinging ? and there we go right back to the church at Corinth again. There is still nothing new under the sun.

If Love is what you're truly making, it is way more that mental
Is that your opinion?Dr. Sweet NUPE said:The mental part of love consist of the spiritual part.
Dr. Sweet NUPE said:Dude wrong in your OPINION. Dude quit thinking you're right on every subject that deals with affection, love is individualistic among 2 people and God. The mental part of love consist of the spiritual part.

Thanks for reading. I hope that it helps to open a crack in our perspectives. God has so much to pour into us if we can just stay open to Him.Big Thunder said:Good stuff and true talk that is. I don't know the last time, if ever, I thought of intimacy as a spiritual event. Act of procreation, yes; Physical encounter, yes; Out of body experience, possibly; Spiritual act; :goodbad:
Just the same, thanks for sharing your thoughts and knowledge.
On point. That is first and foremost. However, most recently my wife was diagnosed with a heart arythma (sp?). We began to pray about it in the course of lovemaking. She physically felt a change, went to the MD the next day and has not had a recurrence of even a single abnormality.Tony said:Lovemaking can be a healing process

Dr. Sweet NUPE said:where it says married couples who are followers of Christ and have proclaimed God as their lord and savior should not have procreate in church.
I am not being ignorant or stubid. This is an honest to God question.
He already has nearly 2000 years ago. We just repeated and reflected on what He already said.JSTUS said:That means you aren't talking to me. If it's a "to God question", ask God and wait for God to answer you.
