Winning will cure a lot of ills and hush a lot of mouths... we'll be okay this year. In a sense our schedule gets easier with an open date this week, Valley next week, and then JSU. If things hold true to form, we'll run the table from here on out and might just make it back to the SCG. This team took a hit in confidence after the ULM game, Bama State was just the better team. The other two were close... we needed a pause to get some pissed off feelings out in the open. Doug needed a chance to say what he had to say (some of which I don't agree with) and now the focus will be on the next game which will come at a good time. Valley will come after us...we will answer. Then it's the game that will (as usual) help us get our cool back. Our guys will get a huge shot of confidence going into Jackson and beating a good JSU football team and starting us on that late season championship run that ends in coronation in Birmngham (will re-renamed after the game to Gramblingham)!

Remember, we ain't played either of yall yet. Best be careful cuz we bout to get on a run. Seems we found a runningback - not as big as Warren or as physical (yet), but he can take it to the house. Had a 57 yard jaunt to set up his 1 td run vs A&M and dashed 74 yards against PV. I heard that when he dropped the gas, it was over after the first 3 steps. His numbers kinda got lost in the losing, but Dawrence Roberts has had back to back games of 190 plus and 170 plus against AAMU and PV respectively! We getting things together. He apprenticed behind Walker, Warren and Pippen the past two seasons (he's a redshirt soph) and now he's shown his stuff.

For whatever reason, it apparently hasn't meshed and that's a concern. However, I think it will... the open date should help that.

Doug is a grown azz man and how he chooses to react to "criticisim/complaints" is on him... Personally, I think it would have served him better not to take a divisive "naysayers, theysayer" attitude. That didn't work out so well for the guy who preceded him either. Rather than divide the fan base into us vs them... Head coaches should be more of the "we're all gonna work to get this back rolling and encourage our fans to continue to support THEIR Tigers". Damn I still miss Eddie!

Why wouldn't Broadway praise Steve Spurrier? Didn't he work for him while at Florida? Florida is one of the most successful football programs in the entire country. Why would you be mad at him for giving kudos to the man that probably taught him how to build a successful football program? Florida was pretty much mediocre until Steve Spurrier got there.

MB, Comegy might run the score up on yall. Our strength is our defense against the run. Grambling's weakness is their defense against the pass. JSU should win by at least 2-3 TD's, but we'll find out in due time.

I guess I can understand this, coming from non-Gnites. Let me help you out. LEGENDS are created at the "G", beginning with the True Legend himself, the "Maestro of Football", Eddie G. Robinson. So Gramblinites don't need to hear about Steve Spurrier and nobody else. We're not impressed. We had the "Maestro". The man who took almost nothing and made something Great out of it.

I give props to the 3rd Coast Tigers, who NEVER put one of their own, Johnnie Cole, on front street. Even with ALL the things he did or didn't do, they didn't say jack in public about it. (they might have blown that private forum up, I don't know). You will NEVER find TD1908 slamming a Gramblinite in public. Only an ignorant, rot gut so-and-so does that.
